Attwood Sahara S500 12-Volt Bilge Pump

I purchased this as a backup to my failing siphon bilge system in my Waverunner and it works like a champ as you can see on jamesmaurer.com - Its flat bottom and design make it a perfect fit with the bottom of the hull and kicks on in big waves. I also attached an on/off switch so it does chew up battery life in big waves that might cause float to trigger without water. Works great!

Has only been in use for about a month but has worked as intended. Seems to be decent quality. At this point I am very satisfied with purchase.

Works great....I wired it directly to the battery with the float switch. In this config you don't use the striped wire (that would go to a switch if you wanted to manually turn it on, but this thing has a manual/test button on the side to pump water out if it's not reaching the float switch.) Also worth noting is the depth of water required on this one to activate is much less than some other models...I bought 2 others and this was the only one that worked for me due to the minimal depth of water required to switch it on!

Price was great and very easy to install. After the rain it worked great. Only had it a week, we'll see how it goes.

This pump works great, use on a 16 ft. runabout and it successfully pumped water in a heavy rain storm. I like the idea that it is one unit, pump and float switch.

Replacement after over 5 years service. The S500 is compact, reliable bilge pump under the deck of a Boston Whaler. The automatic bailing feature is most convenient for a Boston whaler when moored unused during rain storms (I only cover the console when moored). Affordable, easily to connect. Purchased replacement because it was reliable, reasonably priced and long lasting without a great deal of attention. The auto feature failed but the manual option still operated well.

delivery of broken smart tv and no replacement is still not done noting they do to replace the broken tv onbelieveble

I've installed three of these pumps in a little over a year one had a locked up impeller the other to the float switch stoped working within a month total garbage do not buy. a bilge pump is a safety device it needs to work don't trust your boat to this piece of trash.
