This turntable is surprisingly good. My old turntable went bad, and it was no longer worth putting money into it. I do not play that much vinyl; I'm a streaming guy, so I figured with everybody having sales, I'd look around. Amazon had this one at a big discount, but they were sold out. I checked Wal-Mart, and they had the same price with extended returns until the end of January. So, getting it from Walmart was a win-win because of the great price and extended returns. The table arrived on time and took only 15 minutes to assemble. It sounds very good. The cartridge is not the best, with both the lows and highs a little recessed. I checked the cartridge setup, and it was right on the money. With the few records I spin, this is the perfect balance between price and sound quality for me.

I have been wanting to purchase this turntable for a while and the price Walmart had it was the lowest I had EVER seen it in the past couple of years. I'm familiar with the brand and knew with my past experience with purchases through Walmart this was a sure no brainer for me. I will certainly use Walmart again for any electronics I need in the future.

Pleasant sounds and vibrations from a well-designed turntable; with my vinyl collection, I am able to clean the album, record digitally, and edit the minimal snap, crackle, and pop with ease. Thank you for the speedy delivery of this precision machine.

I upgraded to this turntable and do not regret it one bit. Once you dial in the counterweight and make sure it is level it is smooth sailing. I purchased a scale to measure the tracking force and it was dead on. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a new turntable with direct drive.

Before rating the Audio Technics turntable, a sour note on the appearance of the box that arrived at my door. The box was punctured %26 torn %26 ripped on 9 locations of the box. I took photos in case this item had to be returned..........to my amazement the turntable was not harmed....Congratulations to Audio Technics for such exceptional packaging!!

This was the first new turntable Geoman ever purchased made by the same manufacturer as Crosley in China the old automatic Technics with adjustable speed control was acting up changing pitch decided to replace it with the AT LP120XUSB-BK Turntable - Black it was easy to set up and play it functions as advertised have not yet tried the USB to Laptop record to .mp3 feature perhaps that feature will improve my attitude. The cue lever just feels cheap and had no damping just drops the tone arm quickly and kind of pulls toward the outside edge when lifted. Geoman considered a very nice Fluance table from Walmart.com and kind of regret not spending the extra $200 to order it, you get what you pay for.

I bought this turntable and loved it....at first. Then it started skipping into center of record despite triple checking tracking and skating. Turns out skating adjustment did NOTHING. I did extensive research and discovered that this is a frequent problem with no easy solution. I rigged a manual antiskating device, but would NEVER buy this turntable again.

This item was clearly a swapped item. Someone put a broken item in the box and resealed it -- Walmart did not even inspect the item, just shipped the item to me as new!
