It's a good TV except the remote-control control is to be complicated, especially for someone who has onset of dementia. His battery would go dead before he could figure out how to get to the antenna. Even I have problems navigating. Tried to remove apps but there was no delete button. Tried to set it up for just antenna but there wasn't a option.
I purchased this small screen tv for my wife's office as a replacement for an old Sansui (same size) that went bad. The picture is not as good as the Sansui that went bad. But for an office tv I'd say it's more than adequate. The built-in dvd player uses a separate remote to operate. A remote that operates both the tv and the dvd player would be more user friendly, as two sets of batteries are now needed instead of one. Would I buy it again? probably not.
The DVD player worked one time. I've reached out to the manufacturer and have gotten no response. We use this for camping, so without a DVD, it's pretty useless and a waste of money.
