fairly simple in the beginning but gets quite complex towards the end, has roughly 215 steps and took about 4-5 hours to complete only complaint is that the build is very fragile and the mechanism sometimes breaks when you activate it other than that it's a great shelf piece!
My granddaughter loved her birthday gift! Blocks fit together well and the direction booklet was thorough.

I love legos! Everyone loves to help and its great to do something 'unplugged'! Plus this 1 brings back memories. Highly recommend
Great little set! This is not Lego brand, but it was still nice. The pieces went together easily and they were smooth. I would recommend to others. I love it!
My husband recently built the mario lego piranha, and I built this set. Personally I really enjoyed the build and final results. I think it looks way better than the lego build. However, the bricks aren't always a snug fit sometimes; if you can power through, I felt the set was great. For those interested, the inside of the box was set up just like a lego set. You get a really nice instruction book, and the parts are in numbered bags. Due to looser fit, would recommend for teens and adults with patience. Also, if you like the Aliens movie franchise, it most definitely gives that vibe.
my grandson had a terrible time getting it to stay together it kept falling apart so we glued it together, it was for his mom's birthday
It is not the easiest to put together with the instructions being hard to follow.
This was the absolutely worst building blocks set!!! Missing pieces, pieces not fitting, everything falling off of it.. BEWARE!!! Do not waste your money on this crap!
I knew it wouldn't be the same quality as real legos, but this set has truly peeved me off. I spent two hours alone just trying to keep the jaws together, but everything kept falling apart. I had to rebuild the head MANY. MANY. MANY. times. I shouldn't have to use any sort of glue on my builds if I don't want to! Horrible product.
