This bird food has papaya, pistachios, cranberries, raisins, peanuts, and so much more, you name it the bougie birds are getting some great food! I feed the birds at work by my window so I can see them up close and personal different foods pull in different birds! If you love seeing beautiful colorful relaxing birds feed them right!
Unfortunately, I was unable to test this product myself, so I recruited a few bird friends. They have shown their gratitude by inviting more and more of their friends. I think they are very pleased with the variety of healthy, delicious, seeds and berries. Not only does this bird feed attract song birds, it seems to also attract grosbeaks, woodpeckers, chickadees, cardinals, and titmice. Oh and let’s not forget, chipmunks and squirrels! Even the dog loves whatever they drop on the ground! Great combination of healthy, yummy snacks for all!
I love that this bird food not only has the tasty seeds the birds are so fond of but also has pieces of nuts, dried fruit, and berries. The feed also has sunflower seeds which are a big hit in my area. This feed seems to attract different types of birds. My Mammaw was a avid bird watcher and she is who got me in to feeding the birds. To attract the biggest variety of birds you want to have different types of feed in different feeders. Also remember if you hang your feeders in trees or close to trees you will likely attract the fur covered birds. :D I feed the squirrels too so it's all good. They seem to like this feed as well. The bag is 15 pounds and I filled 3 good sized feeders and still have seed left to refill with. If you have seed left in the bag make sure you seal the bag or put in container that nothing can get to it because mice will also eat this. I included 2 pictures with my review, one the front of the bag, and the other showing the feed. You can see there is a lot of little seeds and the sun flower seeds but you can also see the pieces of nuts and dried fruits. After I filled my feeders up it was not long at all until the feeders were covered up and have been covered up since I put the food out. The birds seem to really like this mixture. I will definitely be purchasing this in the future. Got to keep the birds happy. Not only that but the kitties (indoor) love to sit in the window and watch the birds. I would also recommend this to anyone who feeds birds.
I'm so impressed with this wild bird food. Not only do you get a massive amount but you can actually smell the goodness when you open the bag. It smells so good I had to put the bag up so our dogs wouldn't eat it. LOL. The birds love it and our kids have so much fun watching the birds. This company is spot on with this mixture and their CSRs are the best! If you are a bird lover like my family this is a must-have.
Lots of nuts, sunflower seeds, and dried berries. The berries were whole, not chopped up pieces. The millet stayed in the tray feeder. But, some of it did fall through the round feeder holes. It is a great blend. I didn't catch any birds at the feeder. But, the next day the pile on the top of the tray feeder was gone, and half the round feeder was gone. So, they had it, and from the looks of it they enjoyed it. I get families of chickadee's and cardinals.
I love feeding the birds. I am always trying out new seeds and snacks for them. I recently moved and am getting to know the birds at my new house. They are a hungry bunch for sure! The birds really liked this seed. They love the milo seeds (which is usually the last thing birds eat in a seed.) This pack doesn’t have much milo but has tons of sunflowers and dried fruits. All the birds love the dried fruits. The cardinals, woodpeckers, red winged blackbird, and all the variety of sparrows go nuts over this food. I filled two bird feeders at breakfast time. By the time lunch time rolled around, it was empty! They loved it. There are a lot of sunflower seeds. If your birds do not eat them well, you may have sunflowers sprouting. If your birds do eat them well, you will have lots of empty shells. This is common with any type of seed though. (The doves will eat the shells if you have them.) I highly recommend this seed. It also has a handle on the bag for easy pouring!
This bird food is wonderful! The birds seem to really like this blend. I have it in 2 of my feeders now. The birds I have seen at the feeder the most are cardinals and sparrows. It is a good quality mix of nuts, seeds and fruit. There is not much on the ground at all. The stuff that makes it to the ground is enjoyed by the chipmunks and squirrels. It comes in a big strong bag with a handle on it which makes it easy to carry. I just cut the corner open and put a measuring cup in there that I use to fill the feeders with. This has been providing us with lots of entertainment. My kids and I love watching the birds!
All of my wild birds (mostly cardinals and chickadees) love it, come looking for it everyday! The squirrels, too unfortunately. 😆 Love to see them, all feasting and happy, on my birdfeeder camera!
Wish it was as good as picture of seeds showed. You can find a LOT of peanuts and Black oil sunflower seed. Very little of the rest of what is listed. Will not buy again. This was sad. I wanted the rest of the seeds and raisins for the Mockingbirds diet. Now I have to buy something else.
This bag states its " Fruit, Nuts and Berries" But the truth is: it's 98% seeds. Black oil sun flower seeds. Some peanuts. A handful of dried berries. Millet, which the birds don't eat and leave in the feeder. I haven't found any other fruit. Dissapointing.
