This compact "portable" dryer is definitely work every penny! At time of my purchase it was 229 USD, over my budget, but I am still very glad to have spent my money on this gem of a dryer! The color or finish is not usually something that I would be worried about, but the blue metallic finish is quite pleasing; not too glossy, not too shiny, and not plastic looking, it looks like a nice metallic blue without the overly saturated color that sometimes makes appliances look artificial or toy like. The body is steel! There is an attachment for the vent hose that splits into two flexible "shoe" dryer pieces, so that you can dry wet or washed shoes without tumbling them in the drum! The exhaust hose is about 2 %26 1/8" (5.4cm) inner diameter, and the outer diameter not including the clips is about 2 %26 3/4" (7cm). I forgot to measure the opening that the 90 degree vent connector connects to on the back of the dryer, I think it is closer to 4 or 5 inches (10.1-12.7cm) in diameter, the 90 degree section turns into a rounded rectangle or elongated oval opening. The vent hose is not more than 5 feet (1.5m) I think, though I did not measure the exact length in lieu of not having a tape measure. The power cord is I think about 4 feet (1.2m). The Lint traps are extremely easy to access: one for intake on the front, held in place by magnets under the door closure, the other in the back of the drum, it just pulls out with a gentle but firm tug with my thumb and two fingers. This filter consists of a washable (in a sink) fine mesh filter, and a foam like filter similar to most filters you might be familiar with. All of the filter trap is washable under tap water in the sink, but the main lint trapped is easy to just pull right off and roll into a ball. The "agitator" abutments in the drum are solid and part of the same single piece of metal that makes up the drum (I think, looks that way to me). They definitely help agitate and fluff the clothing during drying. There are multiple settings, a low and high temp setting, various timer settings, and several fabric type settings. I have had great results just using low temp (100F I think or 37C) and Cotton and the sensor setting. It appears to sense the weight of the laundry, and there may even be a humidity sensor, since it starts out with the time left sorta "spinning" on the display and usually starts estimating 240 time left (I think this is minutes), but it usually completes in less than 3 hours. A full load filled to the top with 2 pairs of jeans, a dozen shirts and a dozen random underwear pieces usually takes closer to 4 hours with these settings, and the jeans will still be slightly damp. A load with one pair of jeans and half a dozen shirts and a handful of smaller items is about half the drum (in my experience) and gets completely dry with these settings! 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 2 dozen wash clothes were completely dry in less than 2 hours! Buy this dryer! it's solid and just works!
