it keeps the house cool and it cools it down right away

The good,easy to maneuver due to its wheels,works extremely well if live in a dry climate,especially if put in ice.Fan has 3 speeds and blows hard. The not so good,the power cord is at the top of the unit and very short(tripped over it a few times) and the 6 ice pack things are really thin and cheap. I freeze chunk ice in ziplocks and it works very well. It advertises that it oscillates,the front grill moves a little bit,not the whole unit.I am very pleased with this purchase. I was actually shocked that it works so well. I am about to purchase another one.I usually don't recommend a product but this one is worth it,no bs!

This thing works! I needed an option that didn't need to be ducted out a window. Im in a camper that is not shaded. On these record heat days it's an oven, even with two, operating AC units. It's big but it work's amazingly well. I love the ice packs but have put ice right into the top. Roughly two gallons fills the tank and will run all night in cooling mode without needing a refill. Im so pleased with this purchase! Rinse it well before using and I put it in a large storage bin should it ever leak. Water is the devil in a camper.

there's a slight pull of the casters when moving to refill the tank. There's some noise but it has to do where you place it. our a/c went out and this was a quick solution. it's a nice size for medium size bedroom and kitchen. I haven't had it long enough to change the filters. it's a good size for an apartment depending on which room you're going to use it in. It works better in the evening when the weather has cooled down.

The swamp cooler works pretty good, as long as you figure out how much to open the window, so it doesn't get too muggy. I am disappointed that the water is used up so fast. I thought having one this large, would minimize trips to fill it. And it did arrive broken, but usable. So I didn't return it under the warranty because I didn't want to have to wait for another to come, since it took a week longer than it was supposed to, to get here.

Two days after it was eligible for return it starts leaking and caused a huge mess for me and my downstairs neighbor. It was a great little machine until this happened but now i can't use the cool feature on it so it's just a big ole box pushing hot air around now

Cheap built how do I return this item to any Walmart or where

Uses the small freezer packs and it doesn't take long for them to use up and doesn't cool

The cooling is not that effective, can be better
