Annie's fly trap actually works

Beverly November 9, 2025

I have used these many times over the years. They work. I just open the jar, place it where ever the bugs are, and then leave it. I look into the bottle every so often to see dead fruit flies. This is an easy to use product that actually works. I would love to see it come in a decorative .

BUY IT!!!!

anonymous May 27, 2026

OMG...BUY IT. Literally the only thing that WORKED!!! I had a fruit fly infestation that would not let up. I tried the sticky roll of tape, bug spray, boiling water down the drain, threw out all fruits, etc. Nothing worked. They began to hide in the cabinets, ect. One final act of desperation I bought this product and I KID YOU NOT, AS SOON AS I PEELED THE LID OFF AND PLACED IT ON THE COUNTER, they were coming out of everywhere....within seconds. I have 3 containers out around my house and so far within 2 hours this product has collected well over 200 fruit flies. I am finally relieved. THANK YOU!!!

Expensive But Worth It

Sarah July 13, 2026

I know it's expensive but it's worth it. I've never used anything for fruit flies that worked as quickly or effectively. Almost all the fruit flies were gone in days! The smell is no stronger than any homemade apple cider vinegar trap I've made in the past so it didn't bother me at all.

Saving grace

Natasha July 16, 2026

Finally found something that actually works! I had fruit flies driving me crazy, and within a day I noticed a huge difference. Super easy to use, no weird chemical smell, and it caught way more flies than I expected. Definitely keeping a bottle on hand from now on. If you're dealing with fruit flies, this is 100% worth grabbing. 👏🍎

Totally eliminated the nasty tiny flies!

Barbara September 28, 2025

I have used this fruit fly trap for several years, It works great at attracting and eliminating the annoying little pests. I tipped the jar over once and it did spill over onto the floor. That spill cleaned the area spotless. The ingredients are *natural* so I wasn't too worried. Since then I set it into an old stoneware bowl in one corner of the kitchen counter. No spills. This trap is well worth the price.

Amazing!

Lindsay October 21, 2025

These are magic! I don't know what else they've included in these containers besides apple cider vinegar, but the gnats love them! I've put out dishes of ACV and they don't attract the gnats like mixture. I'm bought the individual cannisters and I've bought the refill bottle to re-use them after a couple of weeks, they're always full of gnats. This is the first time in the past 4 years where my kitchen hasn't been overrun in the fall by drain gnats and fruit flies.

Doesn't look like match but got the job done

Erin September 2, 2025

So I was a little wary since it does seem a bit expensive for something that looked (and smelled) like basically an empty spice bottle filled with apple cider vinegar, but it killed a LOT of fruit flies within about two days. We had other fruit fly elimination stations set up and this one killed a LOT of them. Photo just shows the ones that finally sunk to the bottom. Worked a lot better than I was anticipating at first but it well out preformed the $15 fly-killing night light (which got, like, 1 lol) and fly catcher by far. The smell is really strong so I'd suggest keeping it away from any air vents or anything like that, otherwise your house will quickly smell strong of vinegar. Easy assembly.

Aunt Fannie's failed

MG June 10, 2026

I am very sorry to say that I cannot recommend this product And it really pains me to say this. After reading a review of the product online, I felt confident that it was going to be better than my homemade product. We had a real fruit fly issue and it was out of control. The homemade product worked fairly well and I would find approximately five fruit flies in each container every day. When I put out Aunt Fannie's I never got one single fruit fly in any of the containers. I was so disappointed because I really thought it was going to be my complete fruit fly problem solver. It wasn't. I still have the containers out but not one fly enticed. Meanwhile my home remedy has been successful.

Didn't work

B September 24, 2025

It's mostly vinegar! Inside of a very spill-able container. You'd be better off buying the little apple-shaped traps or making your own at home. My potion worked quickly, while no flies landed in the Aunt Fannies bottle. I use a small jar with ACV, splash of water, and *one* drop of dish soap. Cover with plastic wrap, poke a few small holes. Fruit fly kryptonite !
