My husband and I both love these buns, they are large enough for big burgers or spicy chicken sammies with all the fixin's!! If you can't have sesame seeds you should stay away as they have a lot of them otherwise they are fab! They are always in our home.
Perfect for burgers, sandwiches, and sliders. Being shelf-stable makes them super convenient to keep on hand for last-minute cookouts or lunch ideas. Pros: Soft %26 Fluffy Texture: Great mouthfeel and holds up well with juicy burgers or hefty toppings Classic Sesame Seed Top: Adds a light crunch and familiar flavor that pairs well with savory fillings Shelf-Stable Convenience: Easy to store until you're ready to use — perfect for stocking up Cons: Basic Flavor: Not gourmet, but delicious and classic — great everyday bun Best When Toasted: Slightly better when lightly toasted for added texture Not Whole Grain: If you're after whole wheat or multigrain options, these won't be it Summary: Tasty, convenient choice for burgers, sandwiches, or any time you need solid bread that keeps well. Soft, flavorful, and topped with sesame seeds, they're an easy pantry staple that works for everyday meals and gatherings alike!
We got these buns for our hamburgers and they were so soft. We toasted them on the grill to give them a smokey flavor and they were good. I wish they were slightly smaller so we can see our hamburgers more but they work. They're perfect if you're making other sandwiches like sloppy joe's, chicken salad or tuna sandwiches, etc. If you can't use them all right away, you can always freeze them for the next time
These are so soft and squishy and taste so good with beef, chicken, fish, shredded pork, etc. Even better when I toast them. I like to use a few and then freeze the rest for later. Yum!
These are a great deal AND the buns stand like fancy restaurant buns great for stacking holding up w that fancy baked cracked sesame top can't be beat !!!
These are the best hamburger buns ever. My family really enjoys them. Not only are they soft, but they are not as thick (like other buns) and easy to enjoy without feeling guilty of eating too much bread. You can refrigerate leftover buns to extend shelf life span & it will last longer you can use as needed. That's what I do. It is only a suggestion.
Soft burger buns are a great size. They are very fluffy and delicious. We have used them for burgers, sloppy Joe's, chicken burgers.
Only 4 stars for taste because it's non-artisan white bread, and 4 is as high as I think that stuff can go. But these are generously sprinkled with sesame seeds, and that makes up for it. (Does anyone else eat that little pile of them at the bottom of the bag when the bread is all gone? Yum.) While I normally prefer Hawaiian or mega-grain bread that looks like it was rolled in a bird feeder, THESE are large, well-sliced, and halfway sturdy for those ultra-yummy Hot %26 Spicy chicken fillets or those wonderful salmon fillets. Add a slice of GV extra-sharp cheddar to either one, and lettuce to the Hot %26 Spicy, and just wow. I don't really cook, but I do think I make a damned good sandwich, and these definitely help. Now I'm getting hungry thinking about it. And I do have a thawed salmon fillet in the fridge...
The buns looked and felt great but upon using them the bottom bun flattened and squished all on its own. I thought it was a “one time incident” but each time we used the bun, sandwich or hamburger the same thing occurred. Very odd
I just ordered this item yesterday afternoon and this morning they were looking like this. I'm so upset this is ridiculous.
