Aunt Lydia's Classic Crochet Thread Size 10-Parakeet

You had Aunt Lydia's crochet thread but not in the colors I needed. I went to Walmart.com and found all the colors I could ever use. I placed my request and within a week I was sitting at home working with my new crochet thread. I was so happy . I will be back Walmart.com and so will my friends.

looked at all the yarn and craft stores i knew of for this product and none had a very big selection. most stores carried only a few colors and online they had a few more but not what i was looking for. Walmart.com had a very large selection and their prices were lower than anyone elses. plus, if i wanted to, i could save on shipping by picking up my purchase at my store. Walmart is terrific!

I was so happy to find this wide selection of colors at WalMart.com! I already had started a $50 order to be delivered to my home so I added a few spools of this crochet thread. I know that I can also have it delivered to my local store with no shipping charge. The thread is high quality cotton and the colors are intense and pretty close to the colors online.

I needed specific colors of this product, and none of the craft stores around me had them. I was DELIGHTED to find that Walmart not only carries so many (probably all) colors, but that I could order them at a lower price than anywhere else AND GET FREE SHIPPING TO THE STORE! That was the real clincher. Everything came in one package on the before the day promised and I was notified by text message that I could pick it up. The lady at Walmart was very nice and I can assure you I will be buying Aunt Lydia's Crochet Cotton (#10) from Walmart.com again.

I love to crochet with Aunt Lydia's thread. It is soft and pliable and never splits. My town does not have any other place to buy thread except at Walmart and they just stock a few basic colors like black, white, red, etc. It is great that I can order it shipped directly to my Walmart store. According to the wrappers, all of the balls were made about the same time, so the color of all the balls should be the same. I ordered 11 balls of maize yellow to make a 60" table topper with jonquils in filet crochet. The picture I posted is my grandmother's rose doily pattern, she did not read patterns and made it by just looking at other doilies. Crochet Memories wrote the pattern up for me and you can look at it there too.

I LOVE this thread for knitting and crocheting and Im very happy I can find it here cheaper than other places and free shipping when you pick it up at the store :)

This color (aqua) was purchased specifically to combine with other yarn for knitted sweater, after doing a test swatch with another #10 cotton thread. It's just what I was looking for, although the actual yarn/thread is more green and slightly lighter than the photo shown on the walmart.com website.

I really like this for wearable thread projects. It is softer than the others and the color choices (although they could be vaster) are good.

Will have to take back didnt know the smaller the number the heavier the thread and a size 10 is way to small for my bad hands to use.
