FOR BUDGET FRIENDLY EVERYDAY BREAD, I PREFER AUNT MILLIES BRAND AND THEIR VARIETIES. I DONT LIKE OTHER BRANDS THAT MAKE THEIR BREADS SUPER SOFT AND USE LOADS OF EXTRA DOUGH CONDITIONER INGREDIENTS WHICH MAKE THE BREAD SO SOFT THAT IT SQUISHES/FLATTENS WHEN HANDLED AND IT'S TOO FLUFFY, AIRY AND MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH. I PREFER AUNT MILLIE'S TEXTURE ... IT'S HEARTIER %26 FIRMER THAM MOST!
We used to buy Autumn Wheat (Butternut), then it went away for some reason. Then started buying Nature's Own Honey Wheat, but it was stale feeling more than it wasn't. Next we tried and stayed with Sara Lee Honey Wheat, but it got really expensive. Also, some times the tops would feel not so soft. Then we discovered this one. Really love it because it's always fresh and soft. And it costs less than the others. As for the taste, it's between a sweet wheat and the softness of white bread without the bland taste %26 stick to your teeth doughy-ness of white bread. It's the perfect mix. Actually, sometimes if we're not craving something with sandwich bread and the store is out of this brand we'll wait til we go back rather than buy another brand. The only thing is it's out of stock sometimes. Walmart and other stores just need to order more. It's a very good bread!
I was buying a different brand for a lot more money when I spotted Aunt Millie's brand. I shop online so I don't always see all the brands. But this is now my favorite and the only one I buy.
I'm not 100% sure "how" I received the loaf of Honey wheat bread; I've only been a Walmart member since July 2024; as I didn't have my own transportation. I've had to shop online to places that offer free shipping and/or delivery to my home. So, I place my grocery store items for the most part, to Walmart. I am on a very limited income, so I have to watch where every single penny goes. I have always purchased the "store brand" bread. I was given Aunt Millie's as a substitute and I realize that it's a higher price; but I don't mind paying more for quality items. I absolutely LOVE this brand! It's ALWAYS so deliciously fresh, where you won't need a condiment to help swallow it; like all the other brands, so you won't choke getting it fully swallowed. Every single bite has a nice yummy taste of honey. Do yourself a favor and try it for yourself!
Great texture and flavor. So happy it is an actual sandwich size bread loaf and not a condensed piece size.
It's last long as far as freshness than Sara Lee Honey Wheat, it tastes great and it's more economical! I like all of Aunt Millie's products
It was soft bread which is what I like. But it could have had a little bit more honey in there other than that it was fine
Was not what I ordered. Starting to think you don't have the bread anymore because I never get the bread I order.
This is the second time I've received smashed bread. Its clearly the drivers fault due to how it is left on my porch. Once 10%23 bag of potatoes on top of bread. Today canned goods on top of bread. Not acceptable.
they put bananas on top of my bread how am I supposed to make a sandwich with this bread looking like this
