Very soft bread, and it stays soft. Which I love! Doesn't taste any differently than “regular” bread, it also does not have a strong “wheat bread” taste. I was staying with someone who preferred this bread and that's how I learned about it. Sometimes it's best to pay more for better quality. In this case you get your moneys worth and a healthier option. I love PB%26J and grilled cheese, so this worked nice.
Love this sandwich bread especially when I can have 2 slices for calorie counts of 1 slice of other brands of store bought fresh sliced bread! Walmart has the lowest cost for this product, and always the freshest loaves! It does not make the best “ toaster” toast, dried out too fast. I always love to keep a loaf in my bread box!
This bread is soft, delicious, %26 multigrain. A whole $1 cheaper than Sara Lee Multigrain and, I believe, superior in quality and taste. I used to have them substitute Sara Lee Multigrain, when Aunt Millie's Live Light wasn't available, but I changed it to ‘don't substitute' I decided that I'd rather wait until it's back in stock than settle for anything less.
I love Aunt Millie's light whole grain bread. It isn't necessarily a hardy thick cut bread., thinner slices. Just right for a snack, or smaller sandwich.
This is undoubtedly an excellent product. However, its distribution network seems highly unreliable—I can rarely find this bread in stores, and when I do, it typically has a very short expiration date.
I like both the taste and texture of this bread. I'm diabetic and this is my go to, because keto breads are sold in smaller quantities at higher prices.
Love this low calorie bread, wish I could find it at more stores. Thin due to low calorie but flavor is good and added protein is a plus. Highly recommend.
This bread is great and tastes as good if not better than regular carb bread. It has a short shelf life. It will start to mold within about a week. That's probably a good thing since it must lack preservatives which aren't good for you. Just make sure to check it after a week or so.
I wish shoppers would look at the dates of expiration . It seems to be worse. The bread expires in 3 days from delivery and a half gallon of milk expires in 3 days, which is not enough time to use it all up. Also, a text notifying of the arrival time has ceased . I mentioned to the dasher that he didn't call me and he said he had 3 other deliveries and did not see about calling before arrival. If this is stopping, I think it's a bad idea because it helps the person be ready to accept the groceries. Thank you . PS- the dasher was very nice, prompt and did a great job; it's just hard for them to do what is requested if they have many deliveries at one time. The notification used to come from the Walmart app-I don't know if it is gone or what.
Either Aunt Millie's or Walmart is advertising the protein content incorrectly. It is 5 grams per serving, not 6. Even then, the math doesn't add up. The packaging says it's 2 grams per slice and 2 slices per serving, so evidently, it's even less than 5 grams. I didn't buy it because it's light, but I was willing to deal with the fact that it's light, in order to get the extra protein. It's a very tasteless wimpy bread. No flavor, no texture, and not the protein content that was advertised.
