Are use this along with some other oils in my infuser and it smells great
So, this arrived on the first day of my period (so nice to have something work out so perfectly every once in a while!). With the first signs of pain, I mixed five drops of clary sage with about a teaspoon of coconut oil and spread it over my lower belly - no pain whatsoever within 15 min or so. I usually get pain on the second day, too. So, when I woke up the next day, I felt the cramps starting, so I did the same thing and the pain was gone. No harmful ibuprofen needed! Now, I did a few other things differently this past month, because PMS and possibly some other undiagnosed hormonal issues (or just aging?) were starting to really affect my everyday life (extremely emotional and sad and depressed during the two weeks leading to my period, and debilitating fatigue the week before and especially two days before, when I would literally have to hurry up to my bed to lie down before I fall on the floor.) I started to take Vitanica FemRebalance, vit. D3, K, B complex, and flaxseed this past month. The mood improved dramatically, to the point I wasn't even sure whether my period was actually approaching because PMS was reduced so much. So, it may not have been only clary sage that helped with the cramps, it could be the war I waged on PMS with all those supplements. Before I hit 30s, my PMS was only about a week long with some irritability, after that, it started to resemble an illness. Hope this helps someone.
A lovely scent. I use with water in a spray bottle and spray on handles, knobs, etc. It has so many uses and is just one of many essential oils that are "essential" ;) for my in-home/travel kit! I have heard we like scents we need. I do not care for lavender and this concept holds true! Glad to pass it on!
