Have wanted to try Vetiver for quite a while...sorry that I waited so long. I love how it makes my house smell--so relaxing! Didn't know that it was such a "thick" oil; I have to remove the dropper insert from the bottle, but that's a small inconvenience to enjoy this wonderful, calming oil.
This oil smells amazing. It is also very thick. I wear a drop or two on my chakra bracelet and it smells wonderful for a couple days. Long lasting scent.
The oil is thick just as it's supposed to be. Coming out of the bottle slowly, but without any problems - no shaking or hitting the bottle is needed just a little bit of patience. The smell is barely noticeable to me. My wife has a much better nose and she can't stand majority of oils due to their strong aroma, but after sniffing Vetiver she said, "Hm. I like it". The thickness of this oil is very handy when using it as massage oil for feet. I use 4 drops Vetiver, 2-3 drops Lavender in a tiny bowl. Stir them to mix. Apply to bottom of feet & rub in. I do it before going to bed. I noticed my dreams became quite vivid and colorful.
This oil smells terrible. I mixed it with lavender, cedarwood and orange and put some near my nose and winced. Went back to the recipe to make sure that I mixed the right amounts and yes, I did. But at the end of the recipe it said to rub the diluted oil on the soles of my feet. Ir relaxed me into a peaceful slumber. In fact, I think this is best calming oil I have ever used. Just don't use it for perfume recipes!
I really love this Vetiver, it’s really concentrated so I’m able to mix it with MCT oil and use it as a roll on.
By itself, it's not the best smell (not bad-just different) but mixed with other oils, it's great!
I use this oil in a roller ball recipe for stress relief.
Great scent, but I actually liked another brand's burning scent better (N.F.)
Well it would a lot better if I could actually get the Vetiver out of the bottle and into my diffuser.
This is a very strong smelling oil. I am not sure if this is normal, but the oil was very, very thick. I had to use a separate dropper to get it out of the bottle. Not sure if it supposed to be that thick or if the product is old.
