This conditioner is awesome. I usually put it in my hair and leave it in overnight. The smell is so luscious. I only wash my hair 2-3 times a week, and I look forward to rubbing this into my scalp and brushing it throughout my hair. I combine this with the shampoo bar.
Bought this bc i wanted to skip my conditioner step in shower. Love! Smells like toasted sesame seeds. Only needed a little and massaged in scalp and work through rest of hair. Leave in for a few minutes! Rinses out good with water and auromere shampoo. Hair looks and feels healthier. Label also suggests mixing in w shampoo but haven't tried yet. Awesome ingredients in this brand.
I love using the pre-shampoo conditioner. For extra conditioning wrap a warm towel damp towel around your head after massaging the oil in. Tip for shampooing- apply your shampoo to dry hair then wet the hair and shampoo as usual. You will have no oil residue after, just shiny conditioned hair.
Just love this product! I have thick 4c hair and it works great for me. It makes my hair soft and I actually will leave it in another shampoo it out. My hair loves oils so this works wonders.
I use this overnight. I shampoo in the morning and have wonderfully shiny, smooth, bouncy hair. Great product.
Best I have ever used!
I love this product but it's packaging is a big problem so I did not give it a 5. Thus product solved scalp problems for me that were getting quite unpleasant, constant itching, build up on scalp and more. This oil fixed it all and my hair is better than it's been in a long time. I put it on liberally and massage it into my scalp and, if possible, leave it on for an hour before shampooing. Some reviewer said it smelled bad. it has almost no smell and what there is is pleasant. Packaging: The bottle it is in always has a big dent in the side but that isn't a big problem. The bottle top leaks a lot. Every time I invert the bottle to put some oil in my hand when I turn the bottle back upright oil pours liberally out of the bottom of the cap and down the side of the bottle. There is no way to tighten the cap enough to prevent this. The cap is marginally too big. There's always oil on my bathroom counter around the bottle. It's a mess. The bottles come completely covered in a plastic wrap and maybe this is why they do. I wish the manufacturer would fix this, if they do I would recommend this more to friends without having to tell them what a mess it is to use.
I use this after I shampoo. I mix a small amount in with a leave in conditioner. Helps combat the dryness we have in Colorado and its effects on my hair.
This arrived factory-sealed, and when I opened it, the consistency was very liquid and I lost quite a bit of product down the drain right away. That's OK,though, because it smells horrid. I am starting to get used to Neem in other products, it is a strong, earthy odor that is mildly unpleasant. However, this product smelled like vegetable cooking oil that has gone 'off'. I really did not want to put it in my hair, but my hair is so dry and damaged that it really needs some help. So I went ahead, despite the odors. Unfortunately, this product did not do anything to restore or moisturize my hair. I then washed with neem shampoo (a pleasant smell) which seemed to get most of the odor out. I don't think I'll be able to use this again, even if it did work, just because the smell is so bad.
I am sorry to say that I can’t imagine anyone liking this product. I followed directions and it coated my hair so that it didn’t feel clean, smelled off, and left a slippery film on the bottom of the tub. I threw it away and am someone who tries very hard not to be wasteful. I wonder if you should consider no longer carrying this conditioner.
