Aurora AU1225MA High-Security 12-Sheet Micro-Cut Paper and CD/Credit Card Shredder/ 5-Gallon Pullout Basket/40 Minutes Run Time

Motor is Quiet, seams well made. Came with two sheets of shredder paper to try. Old shredder died and I had a lot of paper to shred. It never stopped shredding, no over heating. Holds a lot of paper and was easy to empty.

I'm in the middle of getting rid of about 10 file boxes of old files and so far this shredder has performed well. The cut is small and seems quite adequate from the security angle. The motor has never overheated yet. The basket is a little on the small side and needs emptying every 7 to 8 minutes or so, but that's okay for me.

worked great shreading cards and paper

The Aurora paper shredder arrived on-time and in great condition. I used it extensively on the first day and it functioned flawlessly.

Works great so far. I am very pleased with this shredder. It makes the shredded documents so small I don't have to worry about anyone being able to get private information

Great shredder for shredding all those credit card offers ...no need to open to the envelope, you can shred the whole thing..even window envelopes. It is quiet and constant shredding for 30 minutes or so... highly recommend this shredder!

Great. I like the way it cuts the paper up into small pieces. So far, I have not had any issues.

Quieter than expected!

Good shredder, not too loud. Slightly heavy, but the wheels are helpful for moving around. It has gotten stuck twice when putting in about 10 pages on my first day of using but easy fix, and worked well overall. Was excellent with credit card.

I got this Aurora High Security Shredder to cut thru many old CD's and DVD's I wanted to get rid of since I am now retired and did not need those work-related programs on CD's and DVD's. This shredder really shredded them up after a bit of coaxing with this shredder. It does not seem as heavy duty compared to my older and slightly smaller Aurora 8 page shredder as that one goes thru papers quite well as this one....a 12 sheet shredder seems to jam up a lot. I'd overall rate it 4 stars mostly due to the easy but time consuming destruction of old DVDs and CD's and if you got a lot of those CDs and DVDs to cut up or shred, it probably will take a day or so to get that job done. But for regular daily use, this shredder is fine, even tho it's rather pricey.
