I purchased, for two yr old great granddaughter, a vintage Raggedy Ann 16 inch dolly—she was in perfect and beautiful, nostalgic condition! I wanted the younger generations to also understand about Annie—so I also got two pre-owned, (only type available) books with Raggedy Ann featured. It was so beautiful as our little one quickly made the connection that her new baby doll was the baby pictured on the pages of the book. There is lots of room for growth of understanding, but my hopes and expectations for today were greatly realized. It filled my heart and the family seemed happily surprised and truly enjoyed watching her “make the connections “. It was awesome!
