The Aussie Volume Shampoo and Conditioner really do give you amazing volume in your hair. I'm a cancer survivor and as my hair was growing back it was noticeably thinner. I tried everything (including the $300 stuff that claims to actually regrow hair) and none of it really worked. I had used Aussie products before, in my teens when I had amazingly thick and long hair, so I decided why not try it again. It has worked so wonderfully that my hair is getting thicker and fuller everyday. It also smells amazing.
I recently switched to this shampoo over Panteen. It leaves my hair soft and silky. There seems to be much less build-up on my hair. Love it!
This shampoo is excellent and makes my hair look so good. I would recommend it to everyone and I placed my order with walmart and they shipped it out fast.
pump is so handy in the shower
For me it's working grate! I even don't use conditioner!Recommended for use with my type of hair very high! Med. Blond, baby think, dry to med.
Lathers well, smells great, cleans thoroughly, inexpensive, removes buildup. Highly recommend. I think it's more of a clarifying shampoo, which I love because nothing makes hair meaner than leftover styling products. I also think, quite frankly, the little kangaroo on the bottle is adorable, not that I only use shampoo endorsed by marsupials. Cheers.
I had to take off one star because of the bottle design for the 13.5oz bottle. Though it is unique, the cap is very tight and super hard to open - I thought it was just me, but upon asking my friends and family that also use this product, they, too, agreed that the cap is too tight and difficult to open. (Especially if you have nails - be super careful, as I have already broken two nails opening this product). It's a shame because the product itself is wonderful - smells great, works great, delivers perfect oomph and volume to your hair, leaves it wonderfully lightly scented, decent price, and is an overall great product. I ended up simply prying the cap open before I go to use the shampoo/conditioner, and pouring it into an empty bottle from another shampoo brand. I would love if a new cap design/technology was looked into for a smoother, easier opening!
[Employee of walmartcanada] The scent is too strong, it burns your eyes, and leaves your hair very dry. Avoid it. When it comes to shampoo and conditioner you really get what you pay for.
I've been using Aussie Volume shampoo and conditioner for years. I loved it. It was the only set I have found that worked for my very fine and heavy hair. It looked and felt clean, smelled great. Why in the world would they change it so drastically. The new formula is thick, greasy, and makes my hair feel like it's covered in wax. I can't even run my fingers through it because of the horrible texture. I really want the old formula back. I bought all the bottles I could find but I am finally running out. I hate that they changed it.
This shampoo has a very common allergen in it called methylisothiazolinone, which is also toxic. I put this shampoo on and immediately felt my scalp burning. I washed it off with my old shampoo and soap but the damage was done. I broke out in full body hives, especially on my head, neck, and back where the shampoo touched me, and my scalp continued to burn and itch. Now it's the next day and my scalp is incredibly itchy and sore, and I still have full body hives. Anywhere my hair touches itches. It's been an horrific experience. After an online search I found that this shampoo has a very common allergen in it, and I'm not the only person who has had this type of reaction to it. So buyer beware, unless you want to take the risk and find out that you are one of the many people allergic to a chemical in this product and end up like me with a swollen and irritated scalp and red welts all over yourself. Frankly it's ridiculous how these companies add ingredients regardless of the dangers they present.
