Aussie Instant Freeze Hair Spray for Curly Hair, Straight Hair, and Wavy Hair, 10 oz

If you want your hair to stay in place all day, this is the hairspray to get. It is very strong so if you don't want something, that's going to make your hair somewhat stiff… If you use a good amount of it that is… Then this wouldn't be for you. But it really doesn't take much to hold your hair in place. Just a cautionary note. Great product.

Aussie Instant Freeze recently changed their formula and it DOESN'T WORK. Don't buy...it is basically aerosolized water. I have bought this product for over 15 years BUT now I have to find another brand. Aussie has changed the ingredients so that the first ingredient in Instant Freeze is now water. I have my hair dry and styled and then spray on the new formula instant freeze which then wets my hair and loses my styling. VERY Disappointed!!! Should not be marketing as Instant Freeze. IT is marked as full strength %234 hold but now holds like %232. I've tried several cans and it's the same with all. I LOVED the old formula and it never wet my hair and held my style for most of the day. I have attached two picture showing the ingredients on the OLD vs. New formula for Instant Freeze. As you can see water is now the first ingredient. It doesn't work. Sadly, I can not longer recommend this product to friends and family. Don't Waste Your Money until Aussie fixes this problem!!!

BUYER BEWARE!! This is NOT the same formula Instant Freeze!!! I am sooooo disappointed in this “new” version of instant freeze. It does NOT dry quick, is heavy on the hair, comes out in a splattered stream rather than a fine mist, and does NOT hold like the old formula. At first, I thought maybe I just had a faulty can - like no way could it be this terrible. Nope - bought 2 other cans and it’s the same sloppy overly wet spray. My daughter did the same thing and got the same results as me. I’ve been a LONG TIME CUSTOMER of Instant Freeze but unfortunately - it looks like I am going to have to find another “go to” product. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD INSTANT FREEZE!!

As a user of this products for many, many years, I've always loved the fine mist, instant freeze, quick dry, and even the smell. This new product is NOT the same. At first I thought my nozzle was broken but other bottles proved to be just as bad. The hairspray now comes out in wet globs that saturate and weigh down my hair. No instant freeze. Just a wet mess. Smell is ok but this product is now unuseable for me.

This used to be a really good product. Why did the formula/spray have to change? I am glad to see others on here think the same thing. The new formula/spray is vastly different than the old. It weighs down the hair and stays wet for a very long time. The new spray is very chunky and not a fine mist like it used to be. Bring back the original formula/spray. Will be going with a different brand now.

this used to be a great formula, but something recently changed, they used the wrong formula it does not freeze your hair any longer and it leaves your hair wet. they also apparently changed the nozzle as well or it is detective. It used to be more focused, now watch out it goes everywhere and cover your eyes if you wear contacts. whats going on Aussie Mega?

Will not buy again..I've used this for many years..I bought a can a few days ago, ITS MOSTLY WATER! It actually straightened my curls out!! So…I bought another can thinking I got a dud..IT WAS ALSO MOSTLY WATER NOW,! My hair is still wet and I blew it dry..! Used this junk and my hair is wet! I don't know why they changed their formula but I will never buy again…

I just bought a can and noticed the new label and unfortunately it seems like that isn't the only thing that has changed. I think they've changed the formula and it's no where near as good as the old. It doesn't even hold my hair like the old spray, in fact it's like using nothing at all. The horrible dollar store hairspray is better than this!! Time to find a new brand. Aussie, bring back the old formula!!!

Why this company wanted to destroy their reputation with this horrendous product, I’ll never know. I guess they were looking for cheaper ingredients. It’s a heavy, splattering, mess. The jojoba and sea kelp version was the best hairspray ever made and now it’s gone. Unfortunately, there isn’t any brand to compare, but hopefully I can find one better than this disaster. Aussie, please bring back the old and go ahead and raise your prices!! Most will find a way to afford it.

So disappointed! I have been using this product for many years and have loved it! It has been my go-to styling spray and hairspray for a very long time, but my latest purchase of it has been so disappointing. The formula must have changed, because it has no holding or styling power, and when spraying it, it comes out like a blowtorch, spraying product all over my bathroom walls and mirror rather than a fine, even mist. I don't know if the change has been a money saving maneuver, but Aussie has just lost a very dedicated customer unless they change it back to the original formula. At first, I thought it was a problem with the nozzle, and I returned the product to Walmart to exchange for a new can. They did not have the single cans at the time of the exchange, so I had to purchase a dual pack. Each one of those cans were horrible/defective also. So sad to see a wonderful product be replaced with a product that does not reflect the quality of the original at all!
