I have thin, wavy/curly shoulder length salt %26 pepper hair. After I wash my hair, I apply like a quarter size dollop in my hand and work it throughout my hair, starting at the ends and work my way up to the roots until I get the feel I want, applying a bit more if necessary. I usually put tiny clips in at the roots to give me more lift in that area and let my hair air dry. My hair feels soft and not heavy at all and it smells nice.
(Written by wife) This gel is the best. For reference, I am a Caucasian woman with curly hair. Tried many brands over the years, from high end to dollar store. This gel is great. Works better than gel that costs $30. It glides through hair when you're applying it and provides a good hold. I've tried some of these "organic/natural" and expensive products supposedly designed for curly hair and they just don't work well and provide zero hold for my frizzy hair. Aussie just works and I use several other of their products as well.
this is my main favorite product i love this product its about all i buy if i find it in the store its the first thing i look for when i buy my hair care products but sometimes they are not in a lot of stores where i live if they were i would buy them there thank you Crystal Henderson
The texture of my hair was out of control, with frizz for weeks. I tried what had been working with no luck. Looking for another product in my cabinet, I found I had a bit of this. One try, and it worked! I reapplied the next two days, each with a style that held. One day, I did not use enough. That will not happen again! RECOMMENDED!
Ive never used a hair gel before but Im so impressed! This is a game changer for my hair! I have 2A waves and Ive tried mousse and curl cream and hair spray but all of those options have always allowed my waves to just do their own wild thing, the curl clumps would break apart while air drying, and my hair would be kinda just a foofy mess of okish beachy waves. I often brush it out and put it in a ponytail because I cant save the waves :( This gel is just amazing. I have actual curls that are holding, and I can touch them and scrunch them and theyre staying in place! if you have fine large waves I really reccomend trying this gel! it also smells kinda good and the bottle is very controlled release. you really have to squeeze it to get any out, which is good- you dont accidentally get half the bottle in your hand. Its a gel so it creates a hair caste and then once its semi dry or dry you scrunch it again and it becomes soft instead of crunchy :) oh Im so happy!
Aussie has the best products for hair. The only thing I don't use of there's is the shampoo and conditioner. Because i use S %26 C for people who are loosing haur.
We love Aussie Products. my daughter has natural curly hair but frizzes if she uses a little gel and mousse it won't frizz and last all day. We have been doing this since she was 3 she's now almost 12
I purchased the Aussie Instant Freeze Sculpting Hair Gel to have a slick backed ponytail. It holds well and smells great but does flake if you don't wash it out daily.
Just doesn't have the hold power others have. The curl muse has more hold. And I like the line too. Just slightly disappointed with it. It's graded as their highest hold power too.
Wouldn't purchase this again, requires quite a lot of product to get finished result and leaves a decent white residue when using more than a few pea sized dots. I have very thick hair as well.
