It's like putting on delicious coconut lotion. No sticky weird film left on skin. Feels super hydrating! Never sunburn. My favorite sunscreen!
Best facial sunblock ever. I have tried different brands from all over the spectrum looking for a physical sunblock: eg skinceutical, philosophy, cerave, neutrogena, olay, derma-e, paula's choice, shiseido, and this is the only sunblock that lives up to its claim of being nongreasy. Have not had problems with this sinking into pores or causing a skin breakout either. The price is reasonable.
Love this sunscreen it's not greasy or oily and smells wonderful. Stays on in the water pretty well also
I love the products. They smell nice too. I am enjoying these products and will definitely order again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was searching for the perfect sunscreen after getting melanoma cancer 2 years ago. I came across Australian Gold at one of my favorite beauty stores that I shop at and they were having a sale so I decided why not I'll give it a go! Little did I know at the time that I would not be able to live without it! I carry one in my car, one in my work vehicle, one in my purse, one in my bathroom, and an extra one in the pantry at home! I love how silky smooth my skin is when I put it on and it does not rub off on my clothes that's a huge plus for me and it actually works!!
I live in the humid south and am always outdoors. To boot I have sensitive skin and needed a product that would not aggravate my skin. This product is none irritating went on smooth with no white residue. And I feel I get the protection I need while out in the sun
My wife and I headed to the US Virgin Islands for several days of sun. Needless to say, sunscreen is a must there, and with the new USVI law prohibiting the use of most sunscreens on the market, we needed some new product. We are partial to the Australian Gold regular (untinted) sunscreen, primarily because it works and it smells really nice. We tried the Botanical SPF 30, 50, and 70 products. They all were effective at protecting us from the sun to the degree we wanted. The smell of this product is still pleasant, but not as nice as the regular sunscreen. The worst part? It leaves a white residue on your skin and it is rather difficult to remove in the shower. Best results in removing if you apply coconut oil over the top of the sunscreen, let it set for a few minutes, then wipe away with a warm, damp cloth. This is a wonderful product except it made me look very white. I am very white so I've decided not to use it at the pool, only when I'm in my backyard!
Overall I really love this sunscreen. It is NOT greasy and does not make me break out like other products I have tried. I love the smell and the texture and the way it feels once it's on my face. My only issue is that it does dry white. My skin is too dark for it to be passable without something over it, and I don't typically wear foundation or bb cream. I will be taking it back to the Ulta where I bought it and exchanging it for the tinted version.
it worked very well, was non greasy, and i didn't get a skin reaction which i am prone to but it leaves a white film and it wasn't easy to scrub off. thank goodness i didn't burned or it would've been a painful experience. if you're okay with the white coating, it's a great product otherwise.
