Australian Gold Botanical Sunscreen Tinted Face Mineral Lotion SPF 50 3oz

This is undoubtedly my favourite face sunscreen. I also bought the Botanical SPF 50 Mineral Lotion for the rest of my body! I've got sensitive skin so I always avoid unnecessary chemicals and with this, the minerals are said to be much better on your skin than most sunscreens because it works as a shield as opposed to the chemicals which penetrate into tournament skin. It's not greasy, the tinted effect gives the perfect glow and rich in antioxidants! Compared to other brands, both big name brands and drugstore names, this has worked best because it's reasonably priced. All of the other mineral sunscreens I've tried before were watery, stunk, and had a horrible white cast, but this one is the consistency of a moisturizer, has no alarming fragrance, and the tint evens of out my skin tone with no white cast. I have combination acne prone skin, and I haven't had any breakouts since buying. It also doesn't highlight my dry patches unlike other tinted products would. I like that there's a good amount of product in the tube and a high amount of spf. The only concern I have is that there is only one shade and I am concerned with how it would work on darker skin tones. Hopefully more shades come out! I am in love with this product! I do not wear foundation on my face because it feels heavy and this product is perfect & light to my surprise. I am 51 years old and do have some sun spots on my face from sun tanning over the years and this gives just the right amount of color. I got a convertible recently and went searching for a good SPF face sunscreen for the days that I have my top down. I read the other reviews on this and was sold & I am glad I did. It does not feel greasy at all and almost leaves a smooth velvety feeling and I like that, I put a little loose powder over it and it is just like a light foundation almost. It seems to stay on very well even when I sweat and it does not take a lot to cover with either. The tube is reasonably a good size and should last for a while. I discovered this product through HotandFlashy50 and am so glad I did. It has a wonderful texture, goes on so easily and is not a weird or dark color. If you have great skin this would be all you need. I am 51 and have some acne scars and age spots so I use it with makeup. I still have oily skin so in order to apply my layers I first apply some matte lotion, then the sunscreen, then my primer, then foundation/powder. You could easily just use this and a little powder if needed. I used this day after day on our Florida vacation and never burned. I have always had trouble protecting my forehead and t-zone but did not even get the slightest bit red. Feels great and works, so happy!

Finally a sunscreen with no compromise. No smell, no white cast, mattifies my skin so it looks beautiful under my makeup. Doesn't clog my pores either. I'm a Florida girl so i really put sunscreen to the test. Glad I ordered 2 because it's hard to find in stores. This is a must have for face

I have been searching, for years, for the perfect facial sun protection for my extremely sensitive and rosacea prone skin. Feels comfortable, nice finish and no "hot flashes" or breakouts. This is second to none and, believe me, I have tried them all. Thank you Australian Gold!

I have tried many, many different brands and types of sunscreen for the face. This one is my favorite. It does not irritate the eyes and goes great under any kind of makeup with a primer. It dries mate. If you can't ware chemical sunscreens give this a try.

I found this last summer at Bed Bath & Beyond and couldn't believe my luck! Ordered two tubes this year from this site. It's my favorite sunscreen ever. Goes on sooo smoothly. Gives my pale skin some color without looking orange. Very natural. I don't just use it on my face, I use it everywhere. No whiteness, no lines. Also, it doesn't have that usual sunscreen smell. Please do not discontinue or change the formula! Thank you!

I've been using this sunscreen for a year and just bought two more bottles. I love the tinted feature; it doubles as make-up for me and isn't too dark, even though I'm a pale redhead. Blends nicely, never oily. And it protects my face much better than foundations or lotions with built-in spf. I trust and love it!

I bought this product after seeing it on Hot n Flashy (youtube) and I'm really liking it. I would not use this without a rich moisturizer underneath, because I have dry skin, so I put it over Cerave cream or even a few drops of squalane oil, and i get a smooth, semi matte, velvety finish that stays put and doesn't really need any other makeup on top. It really seems to grab onto concealer and blush/bronzer, making those products last longer and look richer. Also, I've found this to be ferociously water and sweat resistant - try washing your hands after you apply, and you"ll see what I mean. That gives me more confidence about summer protection. All in all, a good product.
