Australian Gold Browning Lotion Without SPF, Blendable, Dark Tanning Lotion, Antioxidant Rich, 8 fl. oz

I've tried a lot of tanning lotions over the years, and the Australian Gold Browning Lotion without SPF is still one of my favorites. It gives a deep, natural-looking tan without turning orange or streaky. The formula goes on smoothly, absorbs quickly, and doesn't leave that greasy feeling a lot of tanning lotions have. The scent is also a huge plus. It has that classic beachy Australian Gold smell that actually lasts without being overpowering. My skin feels soft and moisturized after using it, which helps my tan look more even and last longer. I also like that it helps intensify color fairly quickly when used consistently outdoors. Obviously, since it doesn't contain SPF, I only use it when I know I'll tan easily or layer it carefully with sunscreen when needed. Overall, it's a great product for anyone wanting a rich golden tan and hydrated skin without spending a fortune.

The texture was silky smooth, it just required a little more time to rub in properly. A small amount covered a good section of my skin. The smell as well was great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m in love with Australian Gold products, I was excited to try this new one. It has more of a mousse texture than an oil or cream. The smell of their products is to die for! Smells like you’re at the beach with your piña colada/coconut drink relaxing in the sun! It gave a subtle bronzing effect rather than a dark tan right away. I’m interested to see what would happen when I’m in the sun a lot longer with it on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To start, this product could easily be a fragrance that I would buy. It smells like a sweet coconut and fruit fragrance. The product is water based and has glycerin, so it's more of a watery gel than a lotion. The good part is that it does not leave a sticky or oily residue, but actually melts into your skin and smells amazing. It is cruelty free and vegan, and utilizes coffee extract, vitamin E, and tea tree oil. It's also important to note that there is no SPF in it, so you would need sunscreen separately if desired. I don't tan all that well regularly, so I could see this product being beneficial. However, particularly due to the weather here, it doesn't look like much of a difference initially. Maybe over time I would have better results.

The scent is pleasant and not too strong , which makes the experience even better. It gives my skin a nice , subtle glow without looking too heavy. When i first apply it , it feels slightly sticky, but it’s not overly greasy or uncomfortable. Overall , it’s a great product if you want a smooth , natural looking tan with a light, heathy shine .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never tried this brands browning lotion as I’ve typically used their intensifying sprays but it was worth a try. The texture is like lotion but a little more water based. It does absorb into the skin quickly and leaves your hands and nails brown (temporarily) so it’s recommended that you wash or rinse your hands after application. The ingredients are a combination of coffee bean extract and seed oil, tea tree oil, caramel and it has some vitamins too. I didn’t really notice a scent to it. It does stain clothing so just be careful when applying it because it’ll turn whatever you touch brown. I’m assuming it can be washed off but I haven’t tried that yet. The packaging is simple but effective as you’re able to dispense it quickly. When applying, start with your sunscreen first and then apply this product to ensure your skin is protected. I’m pleased with the product overall just a little disappointed that it stained my white hat 👒

It is easy to apply and absorbs fairly quickly on the skin. I didn't notice much of a time difference with outdoor tanning from without it and with it. I seem to gain color at the same rate. It might work better for those who use tanning beds. It also left a coloring on the palm of my hands even though I washed them directly after applying (and when that happened, I thought for sure it would give me a quick tan!)
