Australian Gold Browning Lotion Without SPF, Dark Tanning, Antioxidant Rich, 8 fl. oz

I've tried a lot of tanning lotions over the years, and the Australian Gold Browning Lotion without SPF is still one of my favorites. It gives a deep, natural-looking tan without turning orange or streaky. The formula goes on smoothly, absorbs quickly, and doesn't leave that greasy feeling a lot of tanning lotions have. The scent is also a huge plus. It has that classic beachy Australian Gold smell that actually lasts without being overpowering. My skin feels soft and moisturized after using it, which helps my tan look more even and last longer. I also like that it helps intensify color fairly quickly when used consistently outdoors. Obviously, since it doesn't contain SPF, I only use it when I know I'll tan easily or layer it carefully with sunscreen when needed. Overall, it's a great product for anyone wanting a rich golden tan and hydrated skin without spending a fortune.

The consistency is just like a regular tanning lotion. Apply before tanning and then after. I would definitely repurchase! My daughter loved it too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love every Australian Gold product I’ve tried and this one is no exception. I was surprised when I first used it, how dark brown it is. I wasn’t sure if it’d leave an “instant tan” effect or not because of how dark it is. It did give my legs a little bronze tone vs the pink tone it was before. (In the picture of my legs, the right leg has lotion, left does not). It smells like all their products and is amazing. Even though it tinted my skin slightly, it didn’t leave my hands looking any different. (It isn’t a sunless tanner so I wasn’t expecting it to). I’ve been out in the sun several times and used the lotion every time. After the second time I noticed my legs were getting tan. They usually tan really slowly and take a while to catch up to the rest of my body. Very pleased with this lotion!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for free to try and I love it! Smells great, goes on like a lotion and immediately adds some color so you can see where you apply. Soaks in quickly, doesn’t feel sticky. Laid outside for 20 minutes (I put sunscreen on before the bronzing lotion) and came inside and actually looked darker. I tan pretty fast, but this made it even faster! Can’t wait to take with me to the beach next month.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife use this this weekend while we were out at our kids sports and as you can see, she wore socks and only applied this to her legs which were completely pale before this weekend so I would definitely say this product works and gives a very nice glow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Australian Gold Browning Lotion is a thick, rich brown colored lotion that comes out of the container easily. I like the fact that's it's cruelty free and dermatologically tested. I also really appreciate that it doesn't have an odd or overbearing smell. That's one of the worst things about many other tanners and lotions, so definitely a plus for the AG. The difference in my before and after is very subtle. It works well enough to add a little glisten and moisturizer but not enough color if you were expecting an instant deep bronzing result. I can imagine it's more effective if you apply immediately before going out into the sun. The vitamin E is an added bonus. Be careful getting it near your clothes or towels! Definitely has potential to stain.

It is easy to apply and absorbs fairly quickly on the skin. I didn't notice much of a time difference with outdoor tanning from without it and with it. I seem to gain color at the same rate. It might work better for those who use tanning beds. It also left a coloring on the palm of my hands even though I washed them directly after applying (and when that happened, I thought for sure it would give me a quick tan!)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not super impressed with this tanning lotion, though you can see from the photos it does give a slight bit of color. Other pros - it’s easy to apply, doesn’t stain your hands if you wash them well within a reasonable time, and doesn’t smell bad! Where it falls short - it takes forever to dry, so don’t put on any clothes or it will stain! It doesn’t last very long, washes off in the shower, and the color isn’t deep enough for my pale skin :/
