Australian Gold Browning Lotion Without SPF, Dark Tanning, Antioxidant Rich, 8 fl. oz

I've tried a lot of tanning lotions over the years, and the Australian Gold Browning Lotion without SPF is still one of my favorites. It gives a deep, natural-looking tan without turning orange or streaky. The formula goes on smoothly, absorbs quickly, and doesn't leave that greasy feeling a lot of tanning lotions have. The scent is also a huge plus. It has that classic beachy Australian Gold smell that actually lasts without being overpowering. My skin feels soft and moisturized after using it, which helps my tan look more even and last longer. I also like that it helps intensify color fairly quickly when used consistently outdoors. Obviously, since it doesn't contain SPF, I only use it when I know I'll tan easily or layer it carefully with sunscreen when needed. Overall, it's a great product for anyone wanting a rich golden tan and hydrated skin without spending a fortune.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To start, this product could easily be a fragrance that I would buy. It smells like a sweet coconut and fruit fragrance. The product is water based and has glycerin, so it's more of a watery gel than a lotion. The good part is that it does not leave a sticky or oily residue, but actually melts into your skin and smells amazing. It is cruelty free and vegan, and utilizes coffee extract, vitamin E, and tea tree oil. It's also important to note that there is no SPF in it, so you would need sunscreen separately if desired. I don't tan all that well regularly, so I could see this product being beneficial. However, particularly due to the weather here, it doesn't look like much of a difference initially. Maybe over time I would have better results.

The consistency is just like a regular tanning lotion. Apply before tanning and then after. I would definitely repurchase! My daughter loved it too!

It is very dark and I thought it would leave my skin super discolored, but it rubs in really well. You can't even tell I'm wearing the tanning lotion! I'll be using this all summer long!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tanning lotion is very hydrating, I loved how it felt on my skin. They added aloe vera, tea tree and vitamin e to this formula. It has a pleasant creamsicle scent. This lotion is not over powering and super staining like others I’ve used, it’s a more gentle gradual tan process. The tan last a few days, you must keep applying daily for best results. This hasn’t been a problem as this lotion feels like a regular daily moisturizing lotion. It evens out my skin and levels up my tan. I will definitely repurchase.

I started using 30 minutes at the pool, and omg my tan looked natural, and that I’ve even had people ask where I’ve been on vacation for such a glow. It doesn’t have SPF, but moisturizes really well. It cuts back tanning time a lot, I wish I will know about this lotion before my 40s.

This would be fabulous if it was waterproof

Unfortunately, I didn't really notice much benefit in that area. That said, it's a really nice lotion! Smells great. Absorbs smoothly. Leaves my skin soft with no irritation.

I didn't really notice a difference after a while in the sun. once I rubbed it in, it was clear. It's didn't leave my leg or hands all greasy feeling. It didn't leave any brown streaks or anything. It didn't smell bad. I personally won't buy this just because I didn't notice a difference between using it on 1 leg & not using it on the other.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not super impressed with this tanning lotion, though you can see from the photos it does give a slight bit of color. Other pros - it’s easy to apply, doesn’t stain your hands if you wash them well within a reasonable time, and doesn’t smell bad! Where it falls short - it takes forever to dry, so don’t put on any clothes or it will stain! It doesn’t last very long, washes off in the shower, and the color isn’t deep enough for my pale skin :/
