Great scanner and great customer service!

5 years ago, this functionality would have been a $5,000 proposition. If you have an old flagship car, especially a German car, this is an absolute MUST-HAVE to interface with all the computers and modules. The cars are just not set up for some $30 scan tool to clear the check engine light or reset some ultra-specific power window module - you need a computer to talk to a computer network. And this thing does it superbly. The live data is amazing too.
I bought this mp808 last year and have used it quite a lot. It has bi-directional control capabilities. This tool might cover most of your diagnostic work, depending on what you need to do. And unless you need the ability to program ECUs and whatnot, you won’t need anything more. Overall, The mp808 will be about the best bang for your buck for a home gamer or a light professional.
Unit got here when they said ,and was very easy to set up .Very impressed with Autel , their web site was easy to understand and so far the cust, service has been right on point ! The unit came with so much more software and resorces than I thought in would . AUTEL you have a grate product !
Without the knowledge of Terms used, a learning curve exists. The user's manual does not cover a multitude of uses. Technical help kept saying just do this and this, and it will work. Well, it would not. In the end, what they were telling didn't not have to be done. It cost me near 2 weeks to resolve.
they have customer service w a live person on the telephone. seemed a bit limited and was hoping for some kind of link, advice, help, etc to resolve and understand the codes better. i mean its what the device is for, sure would be nice!
No instructions
scanner works well but it's not Bluetooth and in this day and age you need to be able to walk around especially to the engine bay while you're operating the scanner. the product description uses a lot of words like same as Etc and it said same as one of the Bluetooth models so I thought it was Bluetooth so I'm taking a few Stars off for this because really spend hundreds of dollars and now I have something that doesn't have Bluetooth
The day I got the scanner it was already glitching. The battery would not hold charge. Then after a couple of weeks the screen was flickering.
