It's a great tool for anyone that needs a comprehensive coverage and tests. The VCI worked great with FJDS, FDRS, and Forscan as well. Grab the FD adapter for some of the newer stuff too. Everything showed up new in box and accounted for. The device looked exactly I would expect direct from Autel and if did come with the 105 camera.

They can do what I paid and works fine in my workshop. These came with everything when I first bought this. The first thing I notice about the MK908 is that it’s fast. Not just quick to boot up (it is), but the responsiveness is fantastic. I usually use them for doming scanning of ABS, airbag, engine, and anything the car can communicate with, such as AutoVIN Technology, MaxiFix, Shop Manager, ECU Coding and ECU Flash Programming, etc. And combining with TS401, I can get accurate data like tire pressure, temperature, sensor ID, relearn information, battery condition, etc. The superior performance makes my daily work so much easier and more comfortable.

Unlike many cheap obd2 scan tablets, which can only be used to diagnose some simple car issues, and even some cannot help people to fix them, this mk908p gave me complete control over the vehicles. Thanks to its programming and coding function, I can provide my clients the service of updating the software and integrating new components. And I always used its bi-directional control of ECM feature to transmit control commands to operate the vehicle system without using the vehicle's control to make my daily repair work super straightforward. I can remotely send some commends to the vehicle being tested, to turn on the radiator fan, modulate the throttle, open/close windows, operate mirrors, turn on interior & exterior lights, sound horn, test door lock actuators, and such without using the vehicle's controls, to verify its system input/output condition. This makes it a huge time-saver in the garage.

After a few weeks of use, I'm incredibly impressed with this scan tool. The interface is intuitive, and navigation is relatively easy. The touchscreen is very responsive. I can scroll without having to resort to pushing buttons. The layout of PIDs and graphing capabilities are excellent. The PID descriptions are understandable. I have not seen a slew of cryptic abbreviations for any of the PIDs. I've been pleased with the bi-directional capabilities. I've used it mainly on Ford. However, I believe Autel MK908P hits the ball out of the park and will have helpful by-directional controls for all makes. It's super easy to update, more like an Android tablet, one-click update via Wi-Fi is enough to get the latest version of diagnostic software with more vehicle coverage and bug fixes. I will refresh this review once I gain more experience with its strengths and weaknesses, if any. My first impressions, WARM!

If you intend to buy the autel mk908p, but the concerns about performance or quality against the price are bugging you, then you are worrying for no reason. The device fulfills what it claims to do and often over-delivers. It is the right fit for mid-scale or large repairing houses but not for individuals. Even a tiny repair shop owner should refrain from buying it as most features are useless for such repair shops. Well, they may consider autel mk808 instead.

As a small auto repair shop owner, I need to deal with pretty much every auto repair scenario you can think of, so I needed a pro-level diagnostic tool that can perform every aspect of the job, no matter what makes my client has, like checking codes, key coding and ECU programming etc. And this Autel MK908P is precisely the one I was looking for. Though sometimes it can feel a little bit bulky in the vehicle with a massive touchscreen, the built-in kickstand hangs nicely on the top of the steering wheel to keep it more accessible. And it’s also great that it uses the Android platform so that I could feel right at home with it. Since my first use, my staff and I have put it to the test with dozens of vehicles and haven’t encountered a problem yet. This one blows other scanners far away. So to wrap things up, I’d give the diagnostic tool two greasy technicians thumbs up.

For every professional seeking an ultimate scanner to be a great helper in their daily service work, this Autel MK908P could be the perfect option. As comprehensive as it is, it is designed to be a replacement for a dealer-level diagnostic tool, and it does everything that Snap On does but just for a fraction of the price! And it can be used as a tablet, which has excellent resolution. If you want to perform coding or programming, the unit itself cannot run the task at hand, then you need to use the included J2534 pass-through device on your PC. And be aware the battery will drain with heavy use.

It's very nice. I use it a lot for oil rests on European cars, EPB, battery rests, brake bleed and more. These have really easy to use and operate functions. The on board monitors are very easy to understand. It’s really helpful to watch live data from these devices.
