Something you have to have these days. It's a very good unit. Could have got it cheaper but I needed it right away and shipping was very fast. Thank you Walmart
works great
Great tool for diagnosing the check engine light on vehicles.. Would highly recommend.
This is a perfect tool for me because it can do a lot of valuable functions without breaking my bank. It is more than just a simple obd2 scanner for pulling and resetting dtcs on the vehicles. It can also access the srs/abs system and suggest suggested fixes. Also, it’s got a good heft, but it doesn’t feel like it would be too heavy to hold in my hand for a long time. It feels like I could drop it multiple times daily but not damage it.
Got the ML529 for home use. It scans and erases all emission-related diagnostic codes. It tells you the code, has a screen display to tell you what the code is, and has a built-in DTC library that covers thousands of code definitions. It only goes on sale for $64.99. It works exactly as expected.
I love the product the only downside is the manual was missing from the box
Did what I needed it to do.
hard to navigate the scanner
Since having this obd2 reader for about two weeks and I have been delighted. I used this tool in conjunction with the thinkdiag app, and it is great to see live data while driving. Of course, I was a little skeptical about whether this scanner would work since my vehicle was old, so I asked. The sellers gave me an answer in time and guaranteed it would work for my car. Anyway, after I got it, I plugged it in and downloaded the app, and it worked flawlessly with no issues. It gave me an error code “p2647” with an explanation. Not a big issue and the problem could be easily fixed, my mechanic friend said to me, and the truth it was! Moreover, the tool can do the same thing as a much more expensive unit will do and show the same thing about what is wrong with the car, and even better, it could tell you what part you need to replace or fix. Overall, I am so happy with it.
This unit works. Ideally, I’ve used it many times on my aging cars, and rugged and powerful enough for the occasional user like me. It has saved me from big worries, big repair bills, and significant stress. If you can’t fix the problem yourself, you can at least know what the problem is, or when you take it to the mechanic, you don’t have to worry about the mechanic ripping you off by telling you there’s something wrong with your car. Many codes do not indicate your vehicle is about to explode but are notifications that something is not quite right and can be scheduled at a more convenient time for repair. Even if you don’t do the repairs yourself, you can take the code and do some web searching to get a ballpark idea of what typically causes that code and the related repairs.
