Got what I ordered on line very happy with the product I ordered I'm pleased with the time frame from time I purchased to getting what I ordered thank you Walmart, have been a customer and will continue to be a loyal customer.
Best scanning tool for the money. The only complaint is that it uses mini-usb for charging. It's not a big deal, but there aren't many mini-usb chargers floating around anymore. But it does what it says it's going to do and I respect that. If you are on the fence like I was. Go on autels website and make sure it has the features you need.
This is an absolute must for DIYers and auto stores. It worked great for my BMW E65. Resetting the faults, codes and service lights is easy. However, my favorite feature as a used car buyer is the ability to identify how many keys are already registered to the vehicle and delete those that are not in your possession. Eliminates the possibility of someone stealing your vehicle with a lost key.!!!
Totally recommended. Highly technical, but user friendly. Ran the scanner on MB and the results were amazing. It is clear at a glance where the problems are located. Provides a list of previous codes/issues going back to the date of manufacture. I will never go back to a $300 scanner. Super advanced.
The scanner arrived the same day, so shipping was easy. It works great and is well worth the money. I have a cheap scanner and the MK808 makes it shine. It can do anything from adding keys to my car to getting information you didn't think you could get, like a speaker not working on a 2003 express van, which is the bare minimum. I did have a little trouble with it, but Autel is working it all out for me. My only regret is spending a little more money to get the next model. My next model will definitely be a BT or bi-directional model. I can even do an unbiased review if they want to give me an unbiased review.
I was skeptical about this tool at first, but decided to give it a chance. It has an amazing range of automotive diagnostic features. I haven't tried 10% of them yet. So far, I managed to program a second key for my 2010 Mazda5. I only had one before. The main thing is to get authentic keys (even if they are used). The two new ones I bought didn't work. Their chips were not good for programming, even though they were advertised as programmable. After using it for a month, I am very happy with this MK808 Autel.
Loaded with features, easy to use and navigate! Used it on Toyota, Mercedes, GM,Ford With no issues. One of the best diagnostic tools out there for the money
Great tool. I scanned 3 cars the first day I owned it and all were accurate and informative. Great reset feature that works for me every time. I can't wait to use it more and test it out.
Works great but I have 2 complaints: 1. Some functions like Air Ride Height Adjustments for Porsche first require 12 volts of battery power and if I have 12.1 volts or lower it is considered a Fail and will not allow me to continue. This means I need to pop my hood and connect a battery charger/booster to my new car battery to push it over the 12.1 volt amount to continue. This detail is unfortunate. 2. There is no feature to read what the current ride height values are (in mm) for each of the 4 wheels. Instead it will display LF = -5 RF = 55 LR = -1 RR = 5 These show in millimetres how they're off from each in relation to each other but not what their actual measurements are. Because of this because in order to correct the height of the suspension for each wheel you need to enter 400mm or 450mm whatever they measure - but it doesn't tell HOW to measure. So I've been measuring the the centre of the rim to the wheel arches. SO MUCH trial and error.
I bought a ds708 several years ago and upgraded to a maxisyselite but I needed an extra scanner for my guys and seen some reviews on the 808 being better than the 708 but I quess it is the ds808 so don't think this is an upgrade because it has no special functions for hardly anything . It is a good computer for reading information , reading graphs on engine data , but hardly anything on abs , air bags , etc . ,and for the price I give it 3 stars .
