Both looms are 3/8 inch center to center spaced pegs. Simple but clear written instructions included for a hat and a baby bootie. This was my first sock attempt with a worked heel and toe and it turned out very well. I used 4 weight acrylic yarn with good results, and also the Bernat 3 weight acrylic as in included pattern turned out very light and lacy, but also good results.

This is a great product! I was looking for a knit loom that used small baby gauge yarn. This is perfect that it makes a softer thinner hat for a newborn or baby up to one year old! I have not tried the sock lion yet lion yet but plan to. The only looms I could find in the stores had pegs that were too far apart and I had to use double or triple the amount of yarn to get a nice thick hat!

Was a little clumsy with it at first, teeth are tight in spacing. But I really do love it!

Hats turn out looking very nice on this loom, it has more pegs than other looms so it requires more rapping. No need to use thick yarn, this loom makes a nice hat without large air holes using regular yarn.
