Lasts five months
We were sent a new battery just over five months ago after our original battery proved defective. As of today, it no longer works and the only solution offered by iRobot is a 25% discount on another new battery. If you are experiencing battery or charging issues with your Roomba, be aware that buying a new battery may not fix the issue for very long.

Premature failure, small capacity
This battery came stock with my i7 Roomba. It failed after three month's usage. iRobot support shipped a replacement which took over three weeks to arrive. The battery's physical dimensions fill only about 40% of the vacuum's battery chamber. A more reliable, robust, and higher capacity battery is needed.
