This basmati rice has become a staple in my pantry. It cooks up light, fluffy, and separate without getting sticky. I love the subtle aroma and flavor, which makes it perfect for everything from curries and stir-fries to simple rice bowls. It's easy to prepare and consistently turns out great. A reliable, versatile rice that always tastes delicious!
I've used the same brand of basmati rice for a very long time, but thought I'd give this one a try. The grains are longer than my old brand and I've never made such fluffy rice. Same rice cooker, same method, much nicer results. Separate grains, fluffy, and delicious! I'm not going back to the old brand.
Royal Basmati Rice is aromatic quick cook long rice. It doesnot take long time to cook, just rinse well, put in one cup rice with 1.25 water, add some green peas with bay leaf, cinnamon, salt, ginger powder and oil, cover %26 boil then simmer for 15-20 min. All Water Evaporate, done. Its easy cook fragrant rice. I never soak just wash till white water gone %26 cook.
I can no longer get my favorite brand of basmati rice, which I have been using for many years, so I did some online research, looking for a replacement. Royal Basmati was consistently listed as one of the best, so I bought a 2 lb bag to try. I opened it this week, cooked some herbed rice, and it was lovely. The directions recommend that you soak the rice first, to lengthen the grains and to cut down on starch, which I did. I followed the stovetop cooking directions exactly, and it was perfect. It was light, fluffy, not at all sticky, and wonderfully fragrant. I think I’ve found my replacement.
I discovered this rice probably a little over a year ago I used to eat white regular rice and a friend of mine introduced me to basmati rice it is much healthier than the other rices will def keep using this rice
I liked this rice very much. it is a long grain that cooks up very clean and smooth. I pre-soak my rice as recommended, it is not a long process, and rinse it off. The rice cooks quickly but I found I had to add more water than what was recommended. I would either add a quarter cup more water or just watch your rice very closely and check before the recommended time. The price has been very reasonable.
It's a good affordable rice and works great in my pressure cooker. I make it this way thanks to my Papas wife. 2 cups of rice 2 1/4 cups of water 2 tbl spoon of oil 3 tsp of salt Drain the water from the can of gandules Put gandules in rice Drain olives and put them in rice One orange envelope of sazon goya. Mix all with spoon Turn on rice cooker or cook your rice on stove like normal With some grilled chicken marinated in McCormick's Garlic, Herb and Wine Yummy! 😋
I have been trying to successfully cook long grain rice for years. My friend finally told me to let it simmer for 17 minutes after it comes to a full boil. Lower the burner to the lowest setting, cover and cook for 17 minutes. Then turn off the heat and let the covered pan sit on the burner for a few minutes. This last step makes the biggest difference as it allows any liquid to be absorbed and the grains to soften. Cooking it in chicken stock/broth adds more flavor. I would recommend using a 4 quart saucepan for 1 cup of dry rice, less mess this way if it decides to overboil.
I can completely see why Royal is America's %231 best-selling Basmati rice brand. Sourced from the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains and harvested by expert farmers in India, this authentic long-grain white rice delivers unmatched quality. The natural aging process in temperature-monitored silos creates a non-sticky texture and fluffy, long grains with a naturally aromatic, lightly sweet flavor. It is incredibly versatile and easy to prepare on the stovetop, in a microwave, oven, or rice cooker in just 15-20 minutes. Following the prep instructions to soak the rice for 10-15 minutes yields extra grain length, and adding a bit of butter or oil with a pinch of salt enhances the flavor even further. Whether serving it alongside curries, mixing up a stir-fry, making pilaf, or crafting a quick rice bowl, it turns out consistently delicious. Plus, it is gluten-free, shelf-stable, and stores conveniently in an airtight container in the pantry. Highly recommended for busy home cooks, meal preppers, and families alike.
Without confirmation how can Walmart deliver different products . I ordered 10 lb basmati rice but delivered 3 packs of 2 lb rice bags with more price
