This measures an ample 46.5 x 32 in. I like that it’s a rectangle and can be used as-is or easily trimmed to fit. It comes softly rolled in thirds, but took very little effort to bend out those folds, and heat from the sun will do the rest. It’s a decent weight, not heavy with water-retaining raised edges like those custom molded trays made for specific car models, but will certainly protect carpet from a dirty bike and outdoor items. Those custom vinyl trays cost hundreds of dollars, so this is a cheap and easy solution. The spikes on the back help keep it in place. I have a 2017 Chevy Cruze hatch. I kept this mat un-trimmed so I can change the direction I lay it in depending on whether I have the back seats up or down. I lay it across the trunk with the excess folded up the walls when the back seats are up, which covers the entire trunk. I lay it vertically when the seats are down so it covers the backs of the seats too. It doesn’t reach all the way to both sides in that direction, but it covers most of the carpet to protect it when lugging stuff, and now I don’t have to deal with laying a large pet blanket out. This mat is terrific!
I’m a bit of a do it yourselfer so the trunk of my SUV is constantly filled with topsoil, mulch, plants, lattice, wood planks, you get the picture. I really needed something to protect my trunk from water, dirt and debris and this cargo mat fits the bill. It’s large enough to cover most of my cargo area and it can be trimmed to fit your particular trunk size. It’s not too heavy so I can pull it from the trunk to hose it off without a lot of trouble and the rubbery material definitely is water resistant. I’m very pleased with this cargo mat and it will protect my trunk from my next landscape or remodel project.
This black Auto Drive rubber cargo utility mat was just what I needed for hauling mulch, soil, etc. in my SUV. The size is 46.5” x 32” and you are able to cut it to fit your particular vehicle. I did not cut mine as I like the longer length when my seats are down. This mat saves my carpeting from sand, food, fur, etc. Cleaning is a breeze; just remove and hose down or simply wipe with a damp cloth for light cleaning. It’s light weight and rolls up for easy removal or to use in another vehicle. There are little “nubs” on the back to keep it in place. The grooves in the top of the mat will keep most light spills contained. Lays nice and flat in my vehicle. One year warranty. I will buy one for my other car too!
This rubber cargo mat is exactly what I was looking for. I have a new full-size bronco and really needed a cargo mat. This is not too thick, but thin enough to be rolled up as you can see in the pictures. I like being able to place items in the back without them rolling around. Plus it protects the carpet and can be easily moved or removed to be cleaned or sprayed off.
This cargo mat for keeping the trunk clean, it is light and easy to clean, it's supposed to fit trucks and SUV, it fits a Nissan SUV very nicely. It doesn't move around when taking things in an out.
I have this mat in my Jeep Patriot. It is a very nice sized mat for my vehicle. It definitely covers the cargo area. I like that it will help keep dog hair from getting stuck in the carpet and that I will be able to haul plants and mulch without dirt getting into the carpet.
True, it is packaged as a rubber cargo utility mat. It survived the New England winter easily which speaks to a good quality rubber. It was even subjected to freezing rain as it covered a good portion of the windshield. The ice came off with a good shake and back it went into the cargo area. Given the price point, there are many great uses for this utility mat in the garage, storage shed, deck, kitty litter, etc. because it can easily be cut ito fit as required.
I’m so glad cargo mats like this exist! I have two large dogs who have made their life‘s mission to run for the hills. Any time one of my children accidentally leave the door open, it always ends with me driving around, tracking their location on my phone and yelling their names out the window until some good Samaritan calls to say they found my dogs or I manage to locate them on my own. I then have to load the dogs into the cargo area of my SUV, which leaves my interior covered in dog hair and slobber. If you’ve ever had to clean either of those things out of the car, you know how difficult that is! And that is why this cargo mat is saving my life.
This mat is great, it's not too thick so it is easy to handle and position and not too heavy to shake off but it is thick enough to protect whatever you place it on and it also stays in place securely. The only question is where to use it, I have it in the back of our car for the puppy but it is the right size for entry ways to protect the floor from dripping shoes or outside in the barn to keep your feet from getting mired in mud, the uses are really endless. Alas, it only comes in black.
Thin and tears easily.
