Good Dash Cam.

jnj081086 November 6, 2017

I hooked this dash cam up so far everything works great. The app that you download for the cam has some bugs but hopefully they will fix that problem. It has great picture that you view from the app. Everything you do is basically going to be from the app. On the device its self it has record on/off, mute on/off, power on/off, and connect to Wi-Fi on phone. Pretty easy to use with no problems. Video quality is good. Sound is ok. Over All thumbs up.

This camera works really well for the price. However it stopped saving video. It was a really simple fix, the battery was not fully pushed into place and it kept on falling out. I super glued it into place and works good! The app does the job, noting special. The night time video is okay. You can clearly see every thing that is lit up by your headlights, or street lights.

Mediocre at best!

JPThorne April 25, 2018

Overall, not bad. Can't get the sound to work on the first one, so will be returning it. Video quality is OK, will not record clearly above 1080p even with 32gb C10 micro SD. Kind of aggravating having to change it to 1080p every time I use it since it defaults to 1440. WiFi works OK, and app pretty much stinks. It appears they were trying to mimic GoPro and they missed the mark for sure! I am going to return this one since the sound doesn't work, and try another one, if the second one has issues, I will be done with this particular camera.

Never Again

Nevil June 16, 2022

This is the worst dash camera I have ever bought, tried to make it work but it didn't. It started recording when it wanted and stopped when it wanted and the app never worked for either Android or iPhone.

According to manual, only offers 1 hour of use after charging, but freezes up if you have it plugged in while using it. Haven't managed to get the sound to work at all. Doesn't focus well if there's anything on your windshield at all, so you'd better keep it pristine and keep up with your wiper fluid. Also doesn't handle lighting changes well, so hopefully you don't need it in a tunnel. And good luck with Wi-Fi.

Not worth your time or money!

UnHappy May 10, 2018

Not worth the money. There is no support for the product and the manual provides no troubleshooting. When plugged in, and with the wi-fi on, it will freeze, and you have to pull the battery to get it to shut off. Once charged, I was able to connect to the wi-fi, but once I started recording, it froze again. Better to just spend your money on ANYTHING besides this!

Save your money!

Ellie June 15, 2018

I've had this dash cam since Christmas 2017 and it's been a colossal pain in the butt. I wish it had made it clear how useless it'd be sooner so I could return it! The phone app is clunky to use and settings don't always save. Until recently the manual wasn't available online at all (not that there's much info in it!). There was an option to upgrade the firmware, it didn't actually work until recently. All of that I could overlook as being annoying if the dash cam worked consistently. The entire reason we got it was because I drive a minimum of 26 miles per day for work and college and that number is only going to increase as I go further with my education. Here in a couple of months I'll be driving 46 miles per day. Since I'm on the road so much I need extra protection in case of an accident. Unfortunately there have been three different times I've needed to pull video from this dash cam only to realize it hasn't saved anything in over a month. The first two times I needed the footage for a complaint with campus police -- a car, the SAME car, cut me off and nearly side swiped me by trying to use empty parking spaces as a passing lane. Since I couldn't provide proof EITHER time, the driver was given a warning. Today someone ran a red light in the stupidest way and I wanted to save it for fun only to find that my last recording was from 5/24/2018 -- over 3 weeks ago! It's not clear when or why it stops saving video -- the light still turns on and blinks showing it's recording, and I have no videos saving as "locked." The dash cam is supposed to overwrite old videos when the SD card is full -- this is their claim, not mine! I'm so beyond frustrated with this product. My cell phone would work better mounted to the dash than this!

Does not perform as advertised

astrowolf67 August 26, 2018

I spent the better part of an afternoon trying to get this working correctly. I followed the instructions to a "T", and never did establish a reliable wifi connection with my Galaxy S7. Even after a firmware update, I was still unsuccessful. The few times I did connect, I was impressed enough with the video quality to give it a try anyway, and, was willing to just remove the card to download video from. I hooked it up, got it mounted and aimed, and took off driving. By the time I returned home, the display showed there were 20 videos saved. I turned the vehicle off, waited for the camera to shut itself down, and removed the card. I took the card inside to download the videos to my laptop, and, nothing had been saved. NOTHING. I spent the next hour trying to find some sort of tech support, or possible reviewer, hoping to find a solution, and came across nothing. By this time, I was disgusted with trying to get it to work, I just boxed it back up, and will be returning it. Don't waste your money on this one.
