Auto Drive Chrome Anti-Theft License Plate Cover and Frame

Good item so far. The screws that came with it I did not like. I used other ones. It seems to hold up better.

Bought for the frame only, not for the clear cover that was included. In the chrome finish, thevframe alone wasn't an option at my store Fit just fine and looks nice.

Easy to install looks great

When I got my latest vehicle I wanted to spruce it up with a matching tag cover. I finally decided to get a smokey colored tag cover to match my gray vehicle. I put it on and enjoyed the look for some time. Unfortunately, it started to turn an ashy color and no matter what I did it would not come off. I came to realize that the Florida sun struck again. Giving up on the look, I tossed the damaged tag cover and gave up on sprucing up my tag. When I saw this tag cover come available I thought I would give this tag cover a try. It is clear but the fact that it has a safety feature that prevents theft appealed to me. When I opened the package it was nice to see that all the pieces were there as well as the tool needed to install the tag cover. There are illustrated instructions on the back of the packaging. There are parts in the kit to make the tag cover fit just about any set up. I did not need the black pieces that look like space filler pieces. The safety feature is screws that require an Allan key to remove them. That is a great feature, so long as you don't lose the key yourself. I like the tag cover and hope it can stand up to the Florida heat.

Love this license plate cover. It is replacing another brand on our car that turned yellow. " This Auto Drive Cover " looks great with the chrome trim and Crystal clear plastic cover. It comes with all the accessories for attachment under any circumstance. It has clips , screws , allen wrench and on top of that chrome covers to snap over the screws that hold the license plate in place. You dont see the screws when its installed just the chrome buttons that match the chrome license plate frame. This is so easy to attach and looks so good I am going to buy another one for my other car. Love it.

This License Plate Cover and Frame were meant for my Saturn; however, the license plate holes didn't quite match up. Instead of moving on to Plan B we tweaked Plan A to accommodate. The top screws lined up perfectly, but the bottom holes were nowhere close. So we found two bolts, two nuts, and a few washers to make it work. We followed the installation diagram exactly for the top two screws. The bottom we bolted everything together. The end result it looks great and everything is nice and secure. I will say that the alignment works perfectly for all four holes on my Jeep. But since I wanted this for my Saturn we made it work. The packaging clearly states “Installation varies by vehicle”. Installation with tweaks still only took a half an hour to complete the project.

This thing looks cool, but the cover caps for anti-theft or whatever are kind of annoying and it'd just be better to use like a flat head screw driver or something since like barely anybody uses those thingamajigs

Exactly as pictured, very nice looking plate frame. However the problem I had was the holes in the plate holder did not line up with the holes in the car so I had to return it. Otherwise the quality was good and the plate holder would have been an attractive add on.

Works well for the intended purpose.

The license plate frame and cover ate a nice combo. The problem is, it has no protection in the package and gets scuffed.
