Auto Drive Water Resistant Rear Bench Seat Protector, Black

My Auto Drive Rear Seat Protector just arrived! I opened up the package and knew instantly it was not going to fit in my SUV. The package does not have any measurements listed but I could tell it was made for a smaller backseat. The product claims to fit most vehicles but unfortunately for me, it did not fit my vehicle. I drive a Kia Sorento and it did not fit properly. I think the packaging should state, "fits most SMALL vehicles." I was a little bummed because I wanted my seats to be protected from my messy kids but I will have to use it in my secondary vehicle. I installed the seat protector in my husband's compact car and it fit perfectly. The seat protector is easy to install. It is made out of polyester and PVC. Not sure if it is completely waterproof but it feels water resistant. It looks stylish and blends in with my cloth seats. Overall, I am pleased with the product just wish it had worked out for the primary vehicle.

Not for SUVs but we made it work by just covering the half that the car seat is on. It has helped minimize toddler spills and shoe scuff marks on the seats, which is a win!

I have mixed reviews for this. It's ok for a temporary use to maybe protect the seats from pet hair or spills from children. It's just a very simple, single thick layer of plastic basically. It makes a crinkle sound when touching it so it's very noticeably there, when anyone goes to sit down. I will use it occasionally for pets or child seats but t j.g e crinkling will definitely be something that will be somewhat annoying.

Don't expect this to stand up to pets or children as shown in the product photos unless both are heavily medicated. The material is a thin vinyl that is tear resistant but won't stand up to a dog's claw or tooth. If you are in the market for something to leave in place so your dogs can dance around the back of your car while you drive you need to look for a different product. This cover is best used as a temporary item to protect your seat surfaces if you are transporting something that would otherwise damage the seats -- like a potted plant or a frozen ham. Something that isn't going to cause the cover to move. While there are proper straps and creative PVC tubes to hold the cover in place, the material moves easily away from the seat and will leave much of the heavy wear areas exposed. In particular, the end of the seat bottom where kids and adults tend to slide in and out of the car has no real protection. This is likely because of the universal fit design. I installed this in the back seat of a Nissan Frontier truck with leather seats. The leather needs something to protect it when I carry plants or items that won't survive in the back. This protector is suitable for that function. I was unable to use the center seat belt with the cover but the other two seat belts work fine and help hold the cover in place. I don't expect to have passengers while using this protector since I trust my passengers will be mostly clean.

The wait was very long. And afterwards there wasn't a sticker on the inside of my car so now I'm not totally sure at what mileage I'll need my next oil change.

Put this in the back seat to try to somewhat save my backseat from dog hair. I have a VERY excitable 40lb dog who gets super excited in the car. I didnt even get out of the driveway before he had this thing lifted up from the back seat and bunched onto the floor. It would seem to work for a very steady and calm dog though.

It's ok. Doesn't fit well and measurements are for my car. Hard to use seatbelts

This is a very horrible product. It comes in 2 parts, so your seats will still get dirty as there are many vulnerable (holes) points between the upper and lower parts. Secondly, it comes with very weak rubber to pack in between your seats, they NEVER stay in between the seats and always pop out because of the cheap rubber material. Thirdly, the straps to strap down the lower part to your seat are incredible cheap and are impractical for most cars. This product is trash. There are better products for $10. And I have huge back seats, yet the back cover portion of the product is extremely saggy still… it droops down very low - horrible product
