Auto Meter 200635 - Marine 3.37" White In-Dash Mount GPS Speedometer Gauge

We recently completed the total restoration and enhancement project (10 years) of our classic 1986 Supra ts6m inboard competition ski boat. We replaced ALL the gauges with Faria gauges (including a GPS speedometer). I was puzzled with the Faria speedo given it had an internal GPS antenna and NOT an external one. We recently did our first "sea trails" and the Faria GPS speedo DID NOT WORK. I then did some prompt and extensive WEB work and discovered the AutoMeter Pro-Comp Marine GPS Speedo and purchased one. Last weekend we de-installed the Faria GPS speedo and installed the AutoMeter GPS speedo (a very easy install with SPADE connectors) and took a spin in our Supra ski boat. The AutoMeter GPS speedo worked GREAT! We are EXTREMELY IMPRESSED with it. It is a FANTASTIC addition to our cherished Supra ts6m. The "old fashion" competition ski boats (back in the 60s, 70s, and 80s) used TWO water-pressure-based speedos (so the driver could average the speeds). They were problematic to say the least. For ALL OWNERS of such classic ski boats - - I HIGHLY RECOMMEND replacing the two water-pressure-based speedos with a SINGLE AutoMeter GPS speedo. YOU WILL BE VERY IMPRESSED and PLEASED. ALSO - - we are having a issue with our Faria oil pressure gauge (it PEGS). We recently installed a new OP sensor at the engine and the OP gauge - - it still PEGS. If we conclude there is no issue with the sensor wire (in the wiring harness) grounding out, our gameplan will be to replace the Faria OP gauge with an AutoMeter Pro-Comp Marine OP gauge. I am confident it too will work GREAT! Having had this very positive experience with the AutoMeter GPD Speedo, in the future I will be a VERY LOYAL AutoMeter customer and will "sing their praises".
