I love the auto mutations, raphael.Figure it is extremely well detailed to some of the vintage stuff. They used to have, and also, it's fun to take apart. And actually, play with, I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves a rare vintage retro looking teenage mutant ninja turtle type figure that is not one of your textbook looking figures
i like the details on the paint
I was born at the end of the 90s so my first exposure to the tmnt was in 2003, which means I didn’t get to experience the original version of this toy. That being said, Automutations: Night Ninja Raphael is super fun! His articulation is very minimal but his action feature is so fun it more than makes up for it! As advertised, you squeeze his legs in his night ninja cloak/mask and armor flip out over his head and chest. This is incredibly fun to do. To complete the look and transformation. He also has the thigh guards that slide in and out of the bottom of his gi, and “foot spikes”/blades that flip out from his feet. I find his weapons to be very fun as well and better implemented than a lot of the classic mutations weapons. This weapon is advertised as a bo staff transform into his signature twin sai. On top of that he comes to a slingshot, which I’m pretty sure is a remold of the storage shell Donatello slingshot but in yellow. Lastly, he comes with a little translucent green ooze canister, which is an accessory included with all the mutations figures but is still fun to have especially if this is your first mutations figure! I have a lot of fun flipping his armor in and out of him and the spring loaded mechanism is very powerful and satisfying. And he’s very easy to transform back-and-forth which is great for kids and collectors alike. All in all, I highly recommend him for your TMNT collection! ☺️
it's a cool ninja turtle but for $27 I expected it to come in great condition! all the corners are messed up and it's basically half open! what a rip off! don't buy from those people
