Auto-Trac 232405 Series 2300 Pickup Truck/SUV Traction Snow Tire Chains, Pair

I did a test fit before my trip over the Rockies and they were simple to put on after watching video. I have used old school snow chains in my youth and they can be difficult to install. The auto-tighteners worked as advertised. Didn't have to use them in the snow, but if conditions warrant I will have what I need. Compact and affordable.

once you use these a few times they are a snap to install / remove. put them both on at the same time, remove them one at a time..I can install or remove them in under 5 minutes which is great when it's cold and snowing. I drive up into the snow and then down out of it frequently and have in to install /remove them sometimes 2 times a day. traction on my front wheel drive van has been bullet proof with them installed

I haven't had to use chains in decades so I needed to research before buying. I came across these, read about them, read what others said, and then bought them. When they arrived, I immediately took them to my truck and installed them. My neighbor and I were amazed at how quickly, securely, and simply they installed. The instructions are even printed on a sheet of vinyl that they recommend kneeling on to install.

Who knows how durable these are, but they say 25 mph or less. Easy to put on and take off if you read. The chains themselves feel just as well made as the Schwab chains I had fir my last vehicle,, but the auto tensioners could be a weak link over Schwabs.

very easy chains to install tricky at first but after a bit you'll get the hang of it grips onto snow well highly recommend!

Product package and shipping box arrived in GREAT CONDITION. I have not used it yet. Nor have I removed it from its factory package. Factory wrapper is zip tied shut. I will open and inspect item soon.

The chains are quality materials and provide great traction, but they were a tight fit on my 2021 Toyota 4runner. Make sure there are no tangles or kinks in the chains before you put them on because there isn't much slack to get them to connect otherwise. If they added an extra inch of chain to provide more slack they'd be 4-5 stars, but 3 stars because you have to have a precise fit.

i think the quality is good. i just thought these were going to easier to install. i bought them because I thought they we supposed to be easy, but they are still really tight and hard to put on.

I was so confident getting this before the trip to mammoth to be ahead of the game. It said on the chain box that it would fit my tire which is 265.65.18- NOT!!! When the time that I was going to attach both end, there was a big gap and was so short! Thankfully my brother have chains already in place in his truck and drove me to the nearest auto shop. Which I had to spend $165.00 here at Mammoth since I don't have any other option. Will return the item as soon I get back from my vacation. If you decide to purchase the item, make sure to try it on your tire before leaving.
