These are the best apples! I eat them almost every single day and is the kind I buy now as long as they are available. The bag says they have hints of caramel and cinnamon. They are sweet and so good!!!!
Actually DO taste cinnamon and Caramel / least i did … the teen said they had the right texture for an apple required - hubbie says its an apple but didn't taste cinnamon or caramel hints. All enjoyed delicious healthy snack
I am enjoying my first Autumn glory apple at this moment, and I must say I am pleasantly surprised. This apple is a cross between my two favorite Fuji and golden delicious. The taste of cinnamon and caramel are definitely present and I don’t find the skin to be too thick at all. It's a great apple.
This is my favorite fresh eating apple ever, leans toward sweet on the sweet/tart balance and has a very unique flavor more "fruity/floral" than other apples with hints of spice vaguely like cinnamon and perhaps caramel, they tend to be medium to small if bought in the 3lb bag. I eat them peeled and cored with a tiny touch of salt, cosmetically most had a very small bruising spot or two that did not affect flavor, fair amount of crunch and not soft or mealy.
I was skeptical, but I'll darn if I couldn't taste the cinnamon and caramel. They are nice and firm/crisp too, but the skin is a little thicker than my usual apples. They also turn brown fast, so eat them quick. I'd get these again, but they don't hold up against my beloved pink lady apples.
I really like these apples. I didn’t really get the whole cinnamon and caramel flavors. But I did get sweet crunchy apples. One apple had a pretty good size bruise. I was able to cut the bruised area off and that saved the remaining apple. Will buy again!
I'm not sure if it's the wax on the apples or their actual peel, but they leave a bad taste in your mouth after you swallow. They are fairly crunchy and sweet. I've tried washing them in hot water to melt the wax off but so far it's been unsuccessful. They also brown pretty quickly after cutting.
I've had these caramel apples before. I expected to wash them and place them in the fridge. Out of my entire bag, only 2 are decent. The rest of the apples look like they are on their way to rot and decay. What a disappointment! Freshness guarantee my foot!
Crisp but almost completely flavorless. Compared to the 20 other varieties I've tried, I'd take ANY OTHER VARIETY over these! There's no cinnamon, no caramel, and no hint of really anything. It's like if you put a slice of red delicious in a glass of water for 1 minute, took it out, and described the apple flavor of the water. For a pricey hybrid, they're a joke. Get opal apples, cosmic crisp, envy, jazz, ambrosia, gala, or really any other apple over this one if you want anything but crunch. They remind me of when COVID took away my ability to taste anything for a month.
The apples were ordered online and picked up via grocery pickup. Every apple in the bag was bruised beyond belief and getting soft. We had to throw all of them away. i took a bite out of one of the few good spots and the apples tasted like every other apple out there.
