AV52 Bluetooth Noise Cancelling Headphones

I purchased the first model of these headphones (AV50) and I've found that the AV52 model has improved on noise cancellation. My moderate hearing loss has made it difficult to understand words, especially when combined with music. These headphones, when noise cancellation is turned on, accentuates voices.

There have been many changes made since the A50.. More options. I prefer the simplicity of the original AR50 for resting/sleeping with an audiobook the AR52 are slightly heavier & more compressing to wear but the payoff if improved audio experience & noise canceling. I love them both. I am confident also in the technical help & customer service provided by ZVOX

Bought these for my wife mainly for airline travel. I had already purchased the original AV50 for myself a couple of years ago and quite liked them. We've been on a couple of flights now and my wife has greatly appreciated the noise canceling effects of the headphones. I like some of the features that have been added to the AV52 model but I like the way my AV50's fold up into a shallower case better than the thicker case of the AV52's.

I listen to many types of music from Blues to Classical to Hard Rock to EDM. Every category sounds accurate in it's reproduction on my AV52 headphones. I am even discovering things in my music I have never heard before. This is a guy with six foot tall Magnapan speakers, NHT Classic 4 towers and Ohm I speakers in my study. In addition to their accurate sound reproduction with my AV52's, people tell me my voice is clear and understandable when using my headphones for phone calls. I have tried many other Bluetooth headphones and have had complaints from people I am speaking to or my hearing the person my conversation is with. Battery has not been an issue with all day use. I am loving this product!

I love these AV52 Bluetooth Headphones! I am severely hearing handicapped, with a CI on one ear and a hearing aid with 40% in the other ear, and ordered these to enable me to better hear melodic musical sounds. I am astonished how these headphones have improved my ability to hear music. I am able to enjoy listening to music downloaded to my cellphone now. Thank you ZVOX Audio

Good sound quality. Good price. I was a little disappointed in the noise cancellation, though. Maybe I had unrealistic expectations as I had never used noise cancelling headphones before. When using on an airplane, I could still hear a lot of the ambient sounds, but the "noise" was definitely lower than when I just used earbuds.

I bought this pair of bluetooth headphones for my wife so she could hear the words on the TV, esp. foreign accents. They're quiet and lightweight and work well. I initially had trouble setting up two devises (phone and TV) simultaneously, according to the instructions, then realized you can't "switch" between two paired devises. Otherwise, they work very well.

I previously purchased the AV50 headphones and have now upgraded to the AV52. I was happy with the AV50s and am pleased with the improvements to the AV52s...with one exception. The AV50 case design was much smaller, less bulky, and therefore easier to pack in my backpack for travel. This new case is going to be a challenge to fit into my backpack with everything else I need to pack in it. Also, I wish the documentation was in a form small enough to fit into the case. But the headphones are comfortable and work well, and I like that I can have two devices connected and easily switch between them, and that there is still a wired connection for plugging into airplane armrests for watching movies on planes.

For use as a wireless headphone for TV while using my treadmill it works quite well. I can hear the dialogue easily. The continuous treadmill hum is reduced well but not completely with NC engaged. One issue I had was NC would not stay on when I plugged the headphones into the TV via cable vs BT.

I am happy with this product, it works very well. Volume is good and sound is good.
