Avalon Bottom Loading Water Cooler with Filtration, Stainless Steel, 3 Gallon Capacity

The house is on lake Champlain In West Swanton, Vermont. The water well smells Sulphur And taste sulphur. Every spring when Swanton city opens the water fountain we would bring the big water bottles and fill them up there. The city has organized the fountain for that. Using the big filtering system puts too much water in the septic tank. So I décided to buy this machine that has 2 filters. BEST DECISION EVER MADE. At 75 years old I am done carrying big heavy water bottles. GREAT BUY IF YOU HAVE ISSUES WITH The WATER. OF YOUR WELL. Just as an example about the smell, you expect guests for dinner, take your shower in the morning. Why? Cause the house smells like 20 people farted non stop in the house for hours. It seriously stinks. Fits perfectly with the stainless steel appliances.

Game changer in house. Use this to make warm bottles for the baby. I know that the water is filtered. Great price. Doesn't take up much space. Ready to assemble!! Love it!!

Easy to use, great tasting water. Slower flow of water but it always is hot or cold when needed I love this product!

So far so good. The unit was packaged well. It arrived 3 days ahead of schedule. Setup was straight forward. It has been installed for almost a week and the product is presently working as described. You do have to drain about two gallons of water on the first use through the hot and cold lines before activating the cold and hot elements. I did make a minor modification to the hanging position of the filters moving it up a row to ensure that the door front closes correctly. The water tastes clean and the heating and cooling elements function with ease. Fingers crossed that it continues to operate as designed. Purchased the additional 3 year warranty. I have reached out to Avalon to see if I can procure a glass tank for the long run.

This is the first water dispenser I've ever purchased. I like how it has water filters and how I can just fill the 5 gal jug with tap water. It's probably an overkill, but I filter my tap water first before using the dispenser to filter it again. I'm not too sure how loud these things get, but it is very loud when dispensing, and when it pumps water back into the water tank reservior. When it's chilling the water, it's about as loud as a refrigerator. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. I no longer need to use a Brita in my refrigerator.

First delivery was damaged/casing was cracked on the top above the back buttons. buttons were just hanging by the wires. Second replacement order was also damaged on the side with the vents. looks like someone ran a forklift into it. kept it since it didn't effect the operation. installed the filters and now the bottom of the water door wont close all the way. For what it cost I expected better quality.

Dispenser is very beautiful however the door for the Dispenser would not close properly with the 5 gallon water bottle even though the website said the unit use 3 gallon and large water bottle as well which is not the case because the bottom load door would close

The two filters barely leave enough space for a 5 gallon bottle. You have to maneuver it just right, sometimes taking a good minute or two to twist the bottle around until the door closes. It makes an awful noise every time you dispense water as the thing starts to CHUG CHUG CHUG to draw water from the bottle to fill the tank. After three months it kept CHUG CHUG CHUGGING. Luckily this happened one week before the return deadline and we sent it back and ordered another one. The second one came with a broken door so we chose another brand.

The product was defected and it was the wrong order. I have been waiting for a replacement for over 3 weeks, but I have nothing yet, and I see the item that I originally ordered, but the store is claiming that they are awaiting for the warehouse. I am still being charged for an item not received.

The water taste horrible and do not work without a filter
