Avalon Organics Clarifying Lemon Shampoo

It was received on time and in perfect conditions. I have oily hair and it's very difficult to find a product for this type of hair. Avalon clarifying lemon leaves my hair smooth and with a beautiful shine. I gave it 4stars instead of 5 because I haven't use it long enough to be sure for how long stays this way before looking oily again.

The smell did resemble lemon, but, there was an off-putting after smell as you lathered. To me it was "plasticy". Not for me.

Fantastic lemon scent! Really strips the hair though, so I wouldn't recommend using it on a daily basis.

I was looking for a replacement for my favorite lemon shampoo that has been discontinued by a major brand and was pleased to find that this Lemon Shampoo was perhaps a shade better. The clean feeling and the subtle lemon perfume are just perfect. Highly recommended

Cleans well without stripping your hair and leaves it very soft and shiny. Smells great too.

I rarely write reviews but I had to for this. I thought I was dying, aging fast, diseased, handfuls of hair falling out. It happened for months and I lost more than 50% of my hair. The tub would be full of hair after I showered and when I brushed it was sad to see. My husband started saying “what's wrong with you?” That's how bad it was. It took 2 months for my hair to repair once I realized this shampoo is the cause. I switched back to “Love Beauty and Planet.” 2 months later, my hair that falls out is maybe 10 hairs in the tub. The change was dramatic and my hair is back to normal! This is a horrible product … and that's an understatement. It caused me a lot of mental stress and physical damage.

Love the smell, love that it's organic. Leaves my oily hair squeaky clean and smelling nice.
