Avana Super Slant Full Length Bed Wedge Memory Foam Pillow with Cooling Tencel Cover, Half-Queen

As a gastric reflux patient for several years, I have tried many different methods of attempting to elevate my torso so that regurgitation of my stomach acid back into my throat would cease. The sure answer was to use 6 inch risers at the head of my bed %26 that REALLY worked except for one problem: my wife couldn't sleep with the elevation! Wal-Mart came my rescue with this full- size foam wedge. IT WORKS!! My wife has her flat bed and my side is elevated. No more acid in my throat and no more sleepless nights! This is worth every penny!!

The size and quality are good. Just like the picture and description. However, I wish it was firmer. It's a bit too soft for me and my back hurt the first few my. I put a board underneath it and it seems to have helped. Otherwise, I'm glad that I got it.

Wow! I love this wedge!!! No more snoring... no more morning headaches... and I sleep all night long with out tossing and turning. My husband says now he never hears me 🙌🏻 and actually admitted to reaching out and touching me to make sure that I’m ok. Now I’m on the hunt for an inflattable version to travel with (I never sleep good in hotels...Their beds are always way to firm to me and I’m either sleeping on my back snoring and gasping for air or sleep on my side and my hip hurts, back hurts, legs go to sleep) not pretty. So I highly recommend elevated sleeping...I read an article by a person who said the amount of dementia and SIDS would dramatically drop if everyone would sleep elevated (in his opinion).

This proved to be perfect. First, it cut my problem with acid reflux so much that I don't often need even 1/2 of an omeprazole pill for heartburn. Secondly, it is wonderfully comfortable. My mattress is firm, and this memory foam seems soft and comfortable but I have good support and don't wake up with a backache. Another buyer of the same spelled out the name of this particular item Avana SuperSlant Full Length Bed Wedge Pillow. So many of these larger wedges cost less but I am so glad I bought this one!

This wedge pillow is amazing!

First let me say I have found this wedge to be comfortable for sleeping however I do slide down somewhat during the night but there is still enough angle so that it does the job. If you want to remove it daily to make the bed it is a little heavy and cumbersome. You also need a place to store it when not on the bed. Also if you have dust mite allergies and use dust mite covers this is another item that needs to be covered. I have not tried the shorter wedges so cannot compare the two styles but after doing my research and reading many reviews I think this is the better choice. To me comfort and results are the most important so I'll deal with the negatives I have mentioned. We will see how durable it is over time. Have only been using for one week.

Very comfortable. I am able to sleep on my side for longer periods of time compared to a shorter wedge. However it would be a big plus if the incline was steeper say 9 inches instead of 7 inches in height to be more effective for my reflux. The 7 inch incline becomes somewhat lost due to the extensive length.
