Avatar - The Last Airbender: The Complete Series (DVD)

The item itself is very good, and the cost/shipping/shopping experience were good as well. I wanted this item in particular because this show was animated at this resolution natively, and was later upscaled in a way I didn't care for, so I prefer the dvds.

I got the complete series for my daughter, we use to watch it together when she was a teenager. We are both enjoying the series all over again and it never gets old for a 45 years old and a 22 years old. I love the series, it arrived early, the price was good, story line is great and well written for any age. I am pretty please with my purchase.

Obviously, it's Avatar the Last Airbender, so the content is awesome. Everything worked really well. No complaints.

Sadly, there's no subtitles for this boxed set. Otherwise, I completely enjoyed watching Aang gain experience and eventually face the Fire Lord. I like the series too much not to recommend it, but just be aware that there are no subtitles. :-(

The series is advertised to have a Spanish audio as an option, but just 3 of them have it. The fourth one is just in English. I bought it because the Spanish option.

These are 16 CDs in the collection. 13 of these disks are actual episodes, while 3 of them are "Exclusive Bonus Disks," which contains Avatar Super Deformed Shorts, how the show was created, and uncut animatics. The 13 CDs are separated into 4 episodes in each. The product is beautiful and complete, and is separated into 3 sections: Water, Earth, and Fire. However, the problem I got was that the image quality was not good. A portion of the CDs played jittered images, where there would be two mouths and four eyes on one face by an offset, its visibility depended on screen size. A big screen would show a centimeter offset, where the low image quality is extremely obvious as stated, but on a tiny screen, the jittered image made it look exceptionally blurry. The other portion of the CDs were of its expected high-quality. I returned the original product brought, and exchanged for a possibly non-defective piece, so maybe the new disks will play better.
