Holds and adds shine
It holds hair well when used on dry hair, apply to the roots and then the ends. A little goes a long way. Faint citrusy smell That is pleasant.

Great Aveda product
I am a big fan of Aveda products in general and this paste is my favorite of a great line. It isn't sticky, but does the job of texturizing and holding my coarse thick hair beautifully. I keep an extra on hand at all times.

Not a good product
The worst product for hair I ever bought in fact I am going to throw it in the trash. Doesn't seem to be a way to return it. I tried it when it arrived couldn't stand the fragrance or texture. What a mistake.

Aveda Control Paste
I've used Aveda Control Paste for several years. I believe this was an old product as it was dry and felt grainy (like there was sand in it). I returned it to Walmart for a refund.

Disappointed in quality
Bought Aveeda Control Paste - item had pulled away from the container and was also an orangey color instead of the light sage green. Paste itself was not as pliable as usual. Not the Aveeda quality you find directly from an Aveeda distributor.
