Aveeno Calm + Restore Gentle Foaming Facial Cleanser, 7.8 fl oz

So gentle on skin!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this line of Aveeno products but hadn’t tried this one yet. I love it! I especially like that it is gentle but can also remove makeup. I’ve used it to clean my makeup sponge and it got more makeup off of it than any other product has. My skin feels great after using it and it isn’t tight or dried out.

My skin can’t go without it. It removes all my makeup. I love the oatmeal and active skincare in the bottle. The foam was nice and softening to the touch after used on the skin. *WOULD RECOMMEND!*

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is definitely a gentle cleanser but it still works well. It foams up nicely and leaves your skin feeling clean, but not dry. I got this to try and leave my honest review so I made sure I used it for a few weeks to be sure it didn't break me out or anything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] for a couple weeks now and it's my first time using a face wash of this brand. My overall impression is that it's a good cleanser. It doesn't leave skin feeling overly dried out after using. Skin will actually feel moisturized. A little cleaner does go a long way. Not scented, great for sensitive skin no irritation. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it is labeled a make up removing face wash. That being said usually when I put in makeup I will remove with an oil/ balm then follow up with the cleanser. I tried using this alone, because again it says it removes makeup, and it took about 2 full face washes before my makeup was close to gone. So I would not rely strictly on this cleanser to remove makeup. Normal days where I just have moisturizer and/or spf this works perfectly fine.

I have semi-sensitive skin and had high hopes for this wash. A few minutes after using, my face was red, painful, and felt super stripped. Not sure if I’m just allergic to something in this but it didn’t work for me.

This gel cleanser seems to be the replacement for the Ultra-Calming Sensitive Skin Foaming Cleanser. I cannot say it is a better alternative, but rather a worse alternative. Bought this as I couldn't find the foaming cleanser anywhere. Just like another reviewer, it caused my rosacea to act up causing redness and breakouts. I still had a little left of the foaming cleanser and it stopped the breakout almost immediately. I do not recommend this cleanser as a replacement for the Aveeno Ultra-Calming Sensitive Skin Foaming Cleanser.

Unfortunately, this product did not work for me. After using the facial foam, my skin became red and I developed breakouts. I would not recommend it.
