Aveeno's SPF 50 sunscreen is my absolute go-to. I love that it doubles as a lotion, so it keeps my skin moisturized and protected in one easy step. It goes on smoothly, absorbs quickly, and doesn't leave a greasy or sticky feeling. This is great. I put it on every morning when gwtting cleaned and dressed. It is a regular lotion, not the sunscreen smelly stuff you usually find. Growing up, i was always told to wash sunscreen off before bed. I like skin protection in my products.
The best sunscreen ever. I am a black women so i thought we don't need Sunscreen but a friend of mine convinced me and introduced me to this one. Not only the scent is Ok, but the ingredients does not damage my melanins. It's not thick with make it easy to get under my skin.
I've been using the Aveeno Protect + Hydrate SPF 30 body lotion and really like how lightweight and moisturizing it feels on the skin. It absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy or sticky residue, which makes it easy to apply daily. I have sensitive skin and didn't experience any irritation or breakouts. The scent is mild and not overpowering, and it provides reliable sun protection while keeping my skin hydrated throughout the day. Great option for everyday use.
This is a really good sunblock; however? It would be even better if the container had a pump action dispenser for better control of the amount that came out of the tube. All too often way too much is dispensed with a simple squeeze and that is a waste.
As a mom, sunscreen has to check a few boxes for me: easy, gentle, and something I'll actually remember to use on busy mornings. This Aveeno Protect + Hydrate SPF 30 has been a solid go-to. It goes on smoothly, doesn't feel greasy, and actually feels more like a lightweight lotion than a typical sunscreen. It doesn't really have any scent to it, which is totally fine. I really appreciate that it adds hydration because my skin can feel really dry, especially when I'm running around all day. It never irritated my skin at all, and I love that it's from a brand I already trust for sensitive skin. It also layers well under makeup, which is a big plus when I'm trying to look put-together in five minutes or less. It doesn't seem to pill or enhance dry patches. Overall, it's reliable, gentle, and gets the job done, and it's definitely something I'll keep in our sunscreen rotation.
"I'm really impressed with this sunscreen! Unlike others that feel heavy, this one feels more like a moisturizer. It absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a greasy residue or a white cast. The prebiotic oat formula is super soothing, and I love that it provides all-day hydration while keeping my skin protected from the sun. It has a subtle, clean scent and works great under makeup. Definitely a must-have for daily skin protection!"
I am not a super fan of this SPF body lotion. It's very oily and I want to say it's hydrating but mainly oily and I don't like how it feels on my skin. Not sure if it's the chemical for SPF but it smells a little weird too. Since it's Aveeno, i usually opt for it due to skin sensitivity but this one is okay
I have a very mixed review for this, although it's very very hydrating. It would make you look like a ball of oil. It is not recommended for someone who has oily skin and it's very stingy on your eyes. That's the biggest issue whenever I applied this train. I had to wait for like 1520 minutes for it to you know stop thinking my eye or if I has really stink my eyes very bad, my Makeup will go so wrong. I don't know. I will recommend this to someone with combination or oily skin. If you have a dry skin, you might like it but do not apply it around your eyes. It will definitely sting, and you do not want that.
I've been using the Aveeno Protect + Hydrate Sunscreen SPF 30, and it definitely lives up to its "Protect + Hydrate" claim! It offers excellent broad-spectrum protection and indeed feels very hydrating on the skin, which is a huge plus for sun exposure. However, for my combination skin, I found it a bit too greasy for daily wear. While it spreads easily and doesn't leave a white cast, it leaves a dewy, almost oily, finish that I don't prefer for everyday use under makeup. Because of this, I mainly reach for it only when I'm headed to the beach or pool where the extra hydration and protective barrier are welcomed. If you have very dry skin, I would actually highly recommend this! The moisturizing properties would be a dream. But for oily or combination skin types looking for a daily facial sunscreen, you might find it a bit heavy.
it was expiring in march 2026 and bought in february
