Aveeno Stress Relief Body Wash, Value Size 33 Fl oz

Have been using on atopic skin for over one year. No problems. Although I may add this is the third edition of the stickers on this product over the same time. Somewhat unnerving for I worry changes in the formulation will ultimately cause some reaction.

This is great for sensitive skin, feels moisturizing and lathers well. No dry or itchy skin afterwards and the scent isn't overpowering at all. Awesome value for the price and will continue to use as an evening time wash.

i really like this stuff.. it is amaszing smelling i also use the body wash .. but becasue of me beenig so senstive i have to give it away .. i though it was going to be good for dry skin ..and ugh i really like this stuff and like i say it smells amaing you all need to try the lotion stuff also

Before becoming a mom 8 years ago I use to use this body soap and lotion. I recently went to the doctor because I was having some skin issues and she recommended aveno. I LOVE lavender anything not the cheap stinky lavender but the smooth Mediterranean/Spanish lavender. I pumped some soap on my wash cloth and the lovely lavender scent hit me… I can’t believe I stopped using this body wash, it was my go to! I am so glad I started using it. Back to the basics. So great for my dry skin ❤️

I have eczema so this is the perfect product for my skin. It feels really good and it softens my skin and it smells OK. I try to get the unscented one.

This is maybe a “decent” body wash. For being Aveeno, I expected a little more. It’s not really moisturizing at all. The “soothing” or “stress relief” aspect apparently comes from the fragrance alone. This actually triggered my eczema, which is rare from an aveeno product. The scent is decent at best. I used it for a little while, then bought a Dove body wash instead and have a nearly full bottle of this just hanging around.

I never write reviews but I feel like it's needed for this soap. I am not sensitive to smells what so ever and love a good scented soap, spray, or anything really. However, this body wash has the strongest smell of any I've ever had. It is so strong that my eyes burn the NEXT day for hours from using it. My daughter has also used it a couple of times and last time she did she woke up the next morning and changed out of her jammies and said smell my jammies and they smelled like she had washed them in this soap. I'm not sure if I have a bad batch or what but I 100% do not recommend. I will be returning or throwing it away.

The “scent” is horrific. With all the hype per the label, I expected the genuine, lovely smell of lavender. But, in my opinion, it smells like bug spray! No, I’ve tried Yardley lavender soap– – and it does smell like lavender. It’s wonderful! I paid a dollar a bar for it. So then, I purchase Aveeno Stress Relief Body Wash With Lavender. NOT the Lavender fragrance, but suffocating stink that I guess I’ll have to attribute the word fragrance to, that appeared on the label of ingredients. Why go through all the trouble of making a great product and then add some chemical smell to it, where it would be more or less taken for granted that it would smell like lavender? I will be returning this. I would hope Aina would put lavender in their lavender scented body wash. So maybe if they read this critique, they’ll take the fragrance out, and put in some lavender.

If you bought this before, it’s a different product. The scent is very strong and does not smell like lavender; it smells like really fake bathroom fragrance spray. If you have sensitive, dry, itchy skin get ready for it to be worse. And if you have a sensitivity to strongly scented products, avoid this one. Also other Aveeno products have new formulas.

They changed the color of the bottle, the formula of the soap, the texture, the color, and the scent. I’ve already contacted the Aveeno company. I don’t like the ‘new formula’. Walmart did nothing wrong. It used to be a cream colored creamy texture with a wonderful and calming scent. I loved this soap and have used it for many years. Why must they change it?! Ugh :(
