Avengers Marvel Legends Series 6-inch Taskmaster Action Figure

I love this character & I'm always excited when a new one is released. But, I was not overwhelmed by this figure. It's not horrible at all, it's just not what I was expecting. It has great details, lots of useful articulation, nice paint work, & cool accessories. They even improved on how the hood of his cape rests on the head of the figure compared to the ToyBiz version. The things I didn't like about it was that the body sculpt is old & too small in comparison to more recent Marvel figures, his cape, & it could have used a few more weapon accessories. If this character can replicate all of the non-superhuman abilities of the heroes he's observed, he'd better have the body to match. He's just not big enough when you stand him up next to most Captain America, Spiderman, or Black Panther figures. His cape is too long & clumsy. The figure can't be put in a slight crouching, "battle-ready" position without the cape getting in the way. Caped figures are hard to make nicely. Plastic capes are sometimes heavy & awkward; and capes made out of a fabric just don't translate well into the 6 inch scale. Also, a battle staff, bow & arrows, or a knife could have been added as weapon accessories. In the end, it's a solid figure that has good qualities. I recommend it & would buy another one, if I had to.
