[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been sending out holiday cards for over 10 years and writing all the addresses by hand. Not this year thanks to the Avery Matte Clear Shipping Labels. I was able to merge all our addresses and then load our printer with the labels and viola!

These are laser labels for laser printers. Laser and inkjet labels are NOT interchangeable. Not one time have I had an issue with them. Avery can't make using them any easier as they provide free templates for their labels as well as free designs. I highly recommend them!

They are super easy to use and I love that you can upload an excel doc to their online system for super easy mail merge. My handwriting is terrible, so I was thrilled to be able to use these labels to send out wedding thank you notes and have them look actually nice. The matte finish also looks great and is perfect for this sort of "formal" letter writing and I had ZERO issues with getting these printed on my laser printer.

I purchased the item to use for business purposes, but found it impossible to use. The templates offered on the Avery website do not print correctly within side the labels. I contacted Avery to attempt to correct the printing problems, and was informed that I need to use a different browser...I needed to update my Adobe reader....I needed to update my printer drive. My printer and computer are all brand new and up to date. I was able to find on the Avery template printing page a way to adjust the margins of the print area to move the printing up or down, but it was too much guess work to determine how many 8ths or 16ths of an inch it was printing the labels incorrectly by. Unless you have your own program or template for these labels, I would not recommend purchasing them. Also important to note, the labels that printed, while incorrect... it was noted that the ink smudged and when the unused labels dried, over time the writing hand bleed and smudged to the point that it was not readable.

Just bought these labels for greeting cards. They used to work perfectly -- no blurring, attractive. Now they ARE not printing properly, ink smudges even when left to dry. WORSE, you are no longer supporting this product, apparently. So STOP selling it then. No one has time for incompetency for a well-know corporation such as Avery.

Ink is NOT supposed to smear on a label. I sure wish I would have read these reviews BEFORE I threw away my money on these useless things you call clear labels.

Prepared labels for daughter's graduation. The ink smeared so bad on the label, it was totally useless. I am using a HP Laserjet printer which is as per the directions. Totally useless...going back to the old fashion, handwritten labels. At least they can be read.

I did not know I now have to find labels, by size etc but what kind of printer I have. Ink jet and it will not dry on these labels. It just smears, (All over me, the printer and the work table) It does say "Laser" On the package but it does not say "Laser ONLY"
